Due to PGI once again not managing to post the Patch File Download Link, this has forced me to go and deal with getting the info again...

File Count -- 1

Looks like the friends list defaults to alphabetical sorting rather than who's online after a match.. hope this wasn't intentional because, ya...

Is there any way you can alter the sort? Also, how is the Favorites function working? :blink:

Dangit... I hope PGI didn't totally bug the Friends List... I've barely Patched the Game Client, and haven't managed to login yet!!! :(

New friends list is ****:

I can sort by last online:

arrow pointing up = I see all OFFLINE players, and then the ONLINE players. (= I need to scroll over all the OFFLINE players)

arrow pointing down = I see all the player > 1 Year OFFLINE, and then monthly wise, till at the bottom of the list all the ONLINE players are, and then the OFFLINE players.


In case 1, I need to scroll a little and then I see the online players, In case 2 I need to scroll a lot and then I see the online players. In both cases I need to scroll.

It would be clever to put the ONLINE players on TOP of that list.

Favourites seems to be glitching, names disappearing and reappearing..

Friendlist sorting works fine for me. To set a player as favourite, click their name, then click favourite in the context menu.

About 30 Minutes Later... And I've found MORE Bugs without even getting into a Match...
  • Friendslist is jumping all over the place when not sorted by Pilot Name
  • Severe Scrolling is needed to find who's Online on the Friendslist
  • Mech Arm Swing is now acting heavily constrained on the Testing Grounds
  • Stealth Armor Cooldown Nodes do NOT appear to be applying on the Testing Grounds
...and I'm sure there's more that I'm about to hit upon. I suspect it will also affect In-Match Operations too. Damnit... This time, the Monthly Update seems more like a Major Downgrade! :angry:

It would be really nice if sorting my friends list by those that are currently online, actually did sort those who are currently online, instead of placing them in the middle of a long list and me having to look through 200+ names..

Can we fix this please?

Place the folks on line ON THE TOP of the bloody friends list?

I pressed REFRESH-BUTTON for FRIENDSLIST.

And I have the feeling it does nothing.


I had some players in the UNIT-LIST, who were shown online, allthough they said godbye to me.
I pressed refresh and they where still online.

EDIT: If refresh button is only working for friendslist and not for unit-list. It is bad programming.

That button doesn't seem to do anything at all for me, even on the Friends List. :(

The UI for Friend / Unit / …. is impossible to use. When filtering "last online" it should always put the people online at the top...instead they are scattered in the list

So once again PGI proves that they can not even do a simple patch to fix the friends list.... and of course its been 6+ hours since the patch and no word from PGI on what they are going to do to fix it.. One more reason that PGI is failing to provide adequate service and will receive no more money from me!!!!

Ty PGI for starting to change things.

I just want to say its hard to tag/invite people when the list jumps about, is there a fix coming for this?

Also could we not see those not online, as in i dont want to see the ppl in grey, that would help alot

Not a fan of the heat system change. Losing a side torso on a light engine equipped mech really seems like a death sentence. I might as well run XL engines in all my IS mechs now, because the durability advantage of the light engine is gone (because I'm going to immediately overheat and die). If I'm not riding the heat threshold, I'm not maximizing damage output. Simple as that.
