I get it. I'm a Luddite at times and being old, miss physical copies. ( I still have real paper magazine subscriptions too) but I just don't think this is common practice anymore. They did say Steam TM so...

Honestly, I expected some kick *** trailer on the MW5 site..

You guys feel really burned out with MWO and everything.

Big MC bonus for me as funder is nice, but there is noting to spend it really in MWO.

Sorry for the cross posting, I should have posted on the official thread first, so I'll paste it here too for the benefit of others:

I just had to send an email to the support@mw5mercs.com because my Google pay transaction showed failure to successfully purchased the MW5 standard edition, but I see the transaction on my Visa. I'm sure they'll get it sorted out, but you all might want to avoid using Google pay for a day or two while they sort it out.

I am considering buy, but i am worried if i will be able to play.. i am playing MWO nearly to minimum spec to have it not a slide show..so would be MW5 even more HW resources hungry?

To echo others - what are the minimum system specs? It does not make sense for me to pre-order a game I won't be able to actually play.

The description states that the beta will feature an instant action generator exlusive to and playable with up to 4 players who must own the collectors edition. Does this have any effect on how players will be able to play coop with one another when the game is released?

For example, to play with friends, will everyone have to have the same edition in order to play the campaign together or will that matter?

I will probably preorder the standard edition. I am really excited for single player Mechwarrior. I wish the preorder options had more bonuses for MW5 to be honest and fewer for MWO.
