Idiotic lights that run off and *boom*, dead before even Bravo lance is within 1,000 meters. There's no point at all in following selfish alpha lancers who know no other game play besides one gigantic left handed circle. Just set up and wait for the enemy team's selfish alpha lancers to run into your firing line. Boom, win.

Don't chase your scouts. They're scouting.

I know you're being facetious, but just saying.

Spoken like a true pilot with 0% of their matches in lights.

The event is just causing players the don't normally run lights to pilot them. You are just seeing a lot of really bad light pilots right now.

Troll thread rating: 2/10

This thread is nothing without doctered screenshots of ones stats, screenshots of group queue and claims of the Top Tier players influencing balance by running a site with the secret aim to bring down the Local Govt of the Seychelles.

Don't worry man. As the best light pilot in the game I've decided to gimp myself by using a 2.0 gig cpu, 4 gig system ram and an intel mobile 4 integrated chipset laptop just to give the new light mech pilots a chance. Turns out a maximum of 5 fps means you can't even lrm atlas.

Okay so here's the scenario that never fails:

1. Lights run off to "scout" or get early damage
2. Fast mediums follow because they think they can keep up and want some of that free damage too
3. Slower mediums feel the need for a hug and they're best bet is to catch up with the group that took off
4. Heavies, as much as they want to set up in power position, start feeling left behind so they full speed ahead without even thinking
5. Smart assaults realize what's happening and are already moving in such a way as to stay with the group via shortcutting
6. The rest try to catch up to the nascar group via the longest route possible and are picked off, you'll find some here on the forums more than likely or in a different match complaining about nascaring.

Nascar is never intentionally started, it's most everyone's weapons favoring the right hand side while also everyone using everybody as meatshields... your shield moves, you move with it. It just spirals out of control in most cases.

A good light pilot needs to get the heck away from the rest of the group to do what they do best.

Mechs that do over 110 kph should have a different icon color and “do not follow” sign over their icon.

Spoken by someone who has absolutly no idea how to play Lights...

The real issue in this game is when the main herd continues to NASCAR to the right ( while using LOW ground), even after several warnings about the enemy’s position (usually behind them), and then refuse to turn around the face them ( even though they can be clearly seen on the map )
