Heya, I didn't buy much so I think I can remain neutral.

Thing is founders and pheonix... ers... funded the game before release. They're a big part of why MWO exists. Gold mechs supported MWO during a big update but was muddled by controversy some of us would rather forget. That said I wouldn't necessarily mind seeing gold mech events.

But fo' real, where's my Urbie Pack event?

No I have 3 Gold mechs, I wanna see a bunch together. I know atleast 12-13 gold owners but only been able to get 5 together in a QP

PGI has lied continuously to their most loyal fans. Its like PGI HATES gold mech owners. They never mention gold owners ever, not even in videos. They said we would have an event just for gold mechs and never once delivered.

Theres still a large community of Gold pilots still active. We do gold lance drops time to time, and had 5 Gold mechs in a QP a few weeks ago.

I've done several matches since this.

And earned it for the Thunderbolt after this especially well played game.


Went back to check, and still haven't got it (or the shield, etc. I haven't got any blue window telling me stuff got injected.)

Going to play some more matches and unlock it for something else. (I haven't got the Jenner's either).

If I can avoid napping most of the day tomorrow (or technically later today) I will work on my Hunchback and then maybe my Catapult. I am working on my founder's first, because those Mechs deserve some attention. Really my Jenner is not as good as it was since the time when one Jump Jet worked as well as 5 and Marik warriors new how to exploit that ;-)

My design worked well. Still used the SPL + Streaks, but dropped the BAP and put in a Streak 4 in addition to the original streak 2. XL 300 engine. Unhappy that having mastered the mech netted me a BOATLOAD of "Historical XP", but only 23 historical SP for it.

Meanwhile my Catapult founders had 182 historical SP on it....

Haven't used my Catapult much since the screen capture days with Lordred...

Though I apparently had some patterns up on them from around the time I was doing the Roflpults.




So I took the Founder's and spruced it up a bit without changing the last pattern I had on it.

Did another check, a few hours after getting it for the Jenner.

None for the Jenner, Battlemaster, Thunderbolt, and I'm 95% to getting it for Catapult. Gonna head for bed and see if they deliver later in the day.

The Cat(F) with the Hunchie (F) in a very close 2nd. My Hunchie(F) is really the only one of the four that I keep service ready and I still play somewhat regularly....... Its my safe place when I come back to the game after a long break.

i wish they would let us choose the pattern we want. I really hate the way the crusader pattern looks. ah well free stuff is good.
