On a side note I found a bug. I played 2 matches in an Adder and shows 2 victories (correct) but under Stormcrow it also shows 2 victories. I did not play a Stormcrow yet.

I can also confirm you can use any invasion mech (probably any mech) for the weapon criteria. So load those flamers up on every mech.

So, event is for "general population", OK.

It still counts damage done on one mech, to other mechs tally. There is no chassis specific counting atm.
LRM15 damage on Warhawk counts as LRM15 damage on Summoner as well.

Win on any mode, any mech results a win on Stormcrow.

9 kills 5 wins later with an Adder and I only have 6 points of dmg with the flamers... I'm trying to imagine a scenario where 25 pts of flamer dmg is reasonable.

You don't have to use an adder for the flamer damage challenge, you can use any chassis you want. I suggest to try piranha or nova.

It's really not about what chassis I have to use. It's about the tedium of 25 points of flamer damage.

Was there ever some tabletop reason why invasion mechs were coloured that way ? I never thought much of those orange colours .

Tried flamers myself. The 25 flamer damage is really absurd challenge by me. The event authors don't play their own game or they hate adder chassis because I can't find another sane explanation for 25 LBX and 25 flamer damage being next to each other for light mechs.

Again, you can do the damage challenges in whatever chassis, the flamer challenge is not restricted to the Adder.

Oh and goes without saying, do this in Solaris. Why? You get the Solaris event done at the same time (and help you get to 25+ matches in each division to get Solaris rewards win or lose) and every victory in Solaris of course means you get get a Kill AND KMDD in the same match.

But last week's event, only those who purchased a founders tag / Phoenix mech several years ago could get the camos. This week, anyone one at all can buy a brand new clan mech and use it to get a camo. Very different situations there.

Solaris Kick off event happens at the start of every season. It's up to you if you participate.
