I know it's tough to read the whole thread before commenting, but if you had done so, you would have read that 13 posts later, near the bottom of page 1, Matt said he would be adding the general event and I thanked him for it at the very last post on page 1.Nice eh?

I have been piloting for a two or three hours now, redeemed rewards for Stormcrow, Timbie and Warhawk....still does not seem to get injected in game. Maybe tomorrow.....

So... it seems the credit for damage for a given weapon is not tied to the specific chasis. I have all the damage for C ER Large Lasers and it shows as credited on the Stormcrow section of the challenge in spite of the fact I've only used Timberwolves so far.

Wow, 4 events going at the same time !

In the Weekend Warrior one, good to see the most difficult part (Target Match Score Level 5) is put aside so everyone has the option to take or not the challenge.

With all the sales, the extra c-bills come out handy.

queue for Solaris with a buddy in Div 1 or 2 in assaults and farm each other for damage. Problem solved.

Man this is BS, Gold mech invasion packs dont count towards the invasion rewards even though they were part of the invasion. What a load of ****.

The event isn't recording any of my damage at all for Invasion. I did 3 matches, and no progress shows up at all in the invasion event. Why is this event broken?

Guys, the Invasion Event really seems broken! Just played a match in a LRM Warhawk, and after saw that I had completed the LRM goals on the Summoner and Timberwolf. I don't own a Summoner.

I am really enjoying all of the events that you are giving us recently, but this one needs your attention soon!

Well somethings really wrong to the event counter... played one match in a Blood Asp and got the correct weekend warrior rewards. Additionally 44 damge with ER Med in the Invasion Nova bracket...

It is not really that hard:

You play the chassis separately and the weapons separately. Matt already clarified that. ars legendi comprehendique difficilis esse videtur.

People complain over everything.
I needed 3 badly played games with my 7flamer/6mpl stormcrow for the 25 dmg.
And if you are not able to get 500 matchscore on purpose in about 5 games or so, you are missing some basic tricks.
Try an assault with massive dakka and live longer than two minutes. That should do it rather sooner than later.

My words
Flamers were fun to play - grabbed MLX-PRIME and toasted everyone, because MGs don´t generate heat
500 match score - 1st match done (VND-1X MRM40, 3xHMG,2xSPL), than several times with FLE-20)
I finished all but 10.000 score (need a break and some work done)
Overall - fun event, but nothing hard to do. In some previous event there was a headshot - and that was a little tricky, so why complaint now?

Ah no good sir... There is a trick here.

The weapon part of the event does NOT need to be on that particular chassis.

For instance you can put LBX5 on any mech that's more appropriate and qualify that way. Then simple play one game in the chassis, get win and you tick the event off easily enough.
