Anybody find out what the free hero's name is again?

Even the whammer IIC countdown page didn't have a name for it as of the 15th.

People will still buy it for the simple fact that they have it.

Having a little doll mech to drop a new camo and paint on it once in a while not bad, give you something to do when you not grinding out mechs you want mastered.

I like it. 2 er large pulse and 3 medium pulse you can spam all day long. Moves like a heavy had some convergence issues but whatever. Lacking armor though... Timby has about the same armor.

You can grab your "Bludgeon" free hero and take it to the testing grounds to try for yourself.

Well for my brief testing grounds run it is indeed a Whalehammer. I do not look forward to trying it out in live combat.

That's exactly the same build I theory crafted. I'm running a XL 385 but haven't gotten around to playing in it yet. Tested out HLL's in the testing grounds but ran way too hot.

Swap them for 2lpl and drop the eng down a touch.

What engine should it be dropped down to? The XL 385 does seem to get crit rather easily.

Pretty sure the cxl size doesn't matter when it comes to the crit chance.

Depends on how many jets you want. With max jets you can go down to 350 and pack in 17 external dubs. Maybe drop one jet for an 18th dub (after that you run out of slots).

The jets are sadly the only thing this sad variant gains in exchange for fewer weapon hardpoints...wish it had better agility.
