If where going to keep this awful voting system, can we bring back vote swtiching so i can farm up votes easier?

And for the love of Kerensky please stop reseting the vote multiplier after each patch its very annoying. Its hard enough for me to get Incursion since it rarely pops up

Better yet can we just remove the entire thing completely and put in random map/mode?

I miss random. Another reason I got bored with the game.

Incursion is garbage tho.

I don't get the hate for incursion. Doesn't it just turn into a death match anyway? I understand why people hated Escort even some hate for Conquest. But incursion most of the time boils down to just killing each other.

I think some people dont like incursion because of the requirement to do base damage. QP in general they treat it as skrimish when its not, losing team should retreat and hold out using the bases cover/turrets while a fast mech whittles away at the enemy base, thats the right way to incursion. My only gripe with incursion is the turrets are weak sauce, they should've ported the old assasult turrets to incursion

I wish we had gotten the assault they promised. One base. With destructible walls. And the other team just attacks from whatever direction they want.

Because Oasis, Tourmaline, Canyon, Solaris, and Mining are definitely cold maps. Sure.

Yeah I hate map voting worth a passion. My favorite map is Caustic so I generally only vote at all if Caustic comes up and it usually end up with a 8-12x multiplier before I can force a match on Caustic. It is just so damn frustrating that my favorite map has to come up for vote 8-12x before I get to play on it. In the meantime, HPG here I come, over and over and over and over again. Blah.

A perfectly empty circle is also pretty well balanced, doesn't automatically mean it's a good map.

So what the **** is this analogy for? Because plexus isn't an empty circle.

I can't remember the last time I dropped on the Bog. I always took it's limited visibility and hitbox deathtraps as part of the challenge of the battle.

Having played War Thunder's low tiers for a few weeks last month. It doesn't seem like they have that many maps. But they have enough distinct maps that with random map select you don't get as bored of the maps themselves. Though I did get bored of the combat eventually, I still found it an interesting change of pace for a while. Even Word of Tanks doesn't have map select, right? It just makes the game boring. unless you're going to start full production of a new map every 3 months. I think people will experience burn out faster dropping repeatedly on Grim Plexus/HPG.

You forgot to tell, canyon, solaris and mining are definitely long range oriented maps...

Well, I like voting for maps. I would dislike random map selection.

And I think too many people complain about the heat of the maps, because that is not the reason why I do not select the "hot" maps. I really dislike Terra, because one side is obviously superior to the other. Whoever stomps into the F7 canyon is sitting in a death trap. Going elsewhere takes longer and gives the enemy an advantage, too.

I also do not like Caustic. Because visibility is quite **** there most of the time and the fight ends up becoming Nascar anyway. Which I feel is boring.

HPG is also not my favourite, because again, one side gets an advantage. One site has an additional ramp on the right hand side, leading to the top. This gives you an advantage on pushing to the top, because you have one more path of bringing firepower to bear that the enemy does not have. In theory, the other team could use the same ramp, but pretty much nobody does because you will run headfirst into the enemy Nascar and/or the Assaults that you will most likely not get away from.

I like maps that give me options and allow for different playstyles, while not being to large that I have to walk for 5 minutes just to get into position.
