Event was a bit too long. Especially the 10 UAV Kills took me an additional 10 matches then expected just to hunt them down. Anything else just came by normal play. Is just the number o enemy UAVs available in air which makes that a pure game of luck.
surprisingly, that UAV kill did take longer then it should, but I was just having bad luck . . . I bring just SRM's. there's like a thousand UAV's to shoot . . and I can't, at the end I was just bring ER large, just to shoot UAV's (and mechs of course), and damn, if they never popped a UAV for me to shoot down
don't recall in the past UAV kills took so long to complete.
UAV kills was, the last thing I needed to complete the event, really hadn't changed normal play, I always shoot UAV's down

The UAV thing, i suspect its primarily because of the assault sale, there was usually something like 6 assaults per side per match. Then a lot of people skilling up/trying out new mechs, which they bought on the sale.
so.........
most people had one slot for consumables, new assault means they either went air strike for damage output or cooldown.... for damage output. A lot of assaults would rather be able to recycle weapons than know where the enemy is, because they are usually staring them right in the face, hence no UAV's to shoot, i guess.

Another event that is great for free rewards but completed in a couple of days. No other reason to login outside of completing the event because there aren't any real faction play objectives or dailies in the game. Mech gotta-catch-em-all and mech leveling are non-issues for me (I assume some other players too).
So, thanks for the free rewards, but please include some objectives or incentives to play the game on repeat days. Even though I'd say MWO/Battletech is in my top 3 franchises/games, there are other games out there that keep my attention and get takes my money better than MWO precisely because of their incentives/dailies/objectives and repeat gameplay/logins.

The in-game store has the Battlemaster bundle on the sale list. So 50% off a bundle where the bundle price is already 50% off the normal in-store prices.

There's always one ever since I joined MWO, called the Lucky Charms event, which is already announced.
In fact the Big 3 MWO events are Lucky Charms, Trick or Treat and Stocking Stuffers. They just need 1 more for a Grand Slam.
