Warhammer Iic Growing To About 25-30% Larger On The Scale

To compensate for this massive increase in size, they are giving us armor quirks, a total of 8 armor to the CT and 6 to the STs. Yeah somehow on a mech that is already so easy to core even at the smaller scale, I just don't think that 8 CT and 6 ST armor is going to mean much on the scaled up version.
PGI, great, your fixing the model but how about fixing the mech. It needed armor quriks and a mobility adjustment even with its smaller size, yet we are seriously only getting a measly 8 and 6 armor AFTER you upscale it. What the heck!!

Yeah, including 5% ATM heat and 5% PPC velocity.

I keep screaming at the top of my lungs that all the mech ever needed was more agility, but PGI seems to be giving it everything except agility.

It is going to need it even more now with the scale change.
On the other hand, I fixed my Warhammer IICs by going 100% all in on the Survival skill tree which gave them enough durability to make them comfortable to play so I am not 100% sure the mobility change is what they actually needed after all. However with 20-30% more surface area to shoot at after the scale change, well like I said, 8 more armor to a CT that was already fairly easy to core, isn't going to amount to much. I kind of feel like I am now going to need to be 100% all in on the survival tree just to get the Warhammer IIC to feel like it was when it was unskilled. I guess we will see but I am not too happy about the change, without significant buffs to mobility and larger buffs to armor attached.

Vindicated for being right.
Not for getting us a better mech.
It's worse now and not fixed quirkwise.

Now, now, this is different. The assault 'mech actually got some armor quirks to compensate for the fact that it's now larger.

From right to left, this is a 26% increase in size.

Keep in mind the bigger something already is, the exponentially less percentage necessary to make it bigger.

I don't have the model in order to tell you exactly how much bigger it is, but if this tells you anything...

This absolutely drastic change...
is a decrease in width by 2%.
In other words "25% at least" is a gross exaggeration, that would have it towering to roughly 23 meters tall..

I do, however pulling the models out to do it right this second is not something I'm gonna bother doing as I'd have to look for the old external hard drives, fetch 'em out of storage, etc.

It's hardly a 25% increase in size. Furthermore...

Of the current scale...The Warhammer (IS) is 75 tons and 15.5 meters tall.
The Dragon is 13.5 meters tall.
The Warhammer IIC is just barely 14 meters tall.

See the issue?
Take a Warhammer IIC and a Wolfhound and put them next to each other...
The Warhammer IIC...is barely half a window taller.
One of those two is 35 tons, the other is 80....

Among craploads of others.
(26% increase in size to get 2 times volume.)
