Flea is a 20T, best one is the 20. ECM and energy HP. Don't fall for the Ballistic one, IS MG are inferior to clan MG's on light mechs as they just don't have the tonnage.

I have a unbiased stiffy for the Fafnir, but it is WIDE. Think thanatos, just 100T and very capable of Heavy Guass/ML with ammo to not actually run out.

Vulcan, I can't say, but you really never see them much. I'd pass.

Blood asp's are ok imo. Some people love em, I can't get them to work proper, but I don't blame that on the mech...

Don't have any insight to the other 3 clan mechs as I don't have em(gonna pick up 1 of each in this sale for sure...)

Regarding IS mechs:

Thanatos got good quirks and ECM and I would consider him generally as a solid mech especially for pop-tarting.
Either Gauss (ballistic variant) MRM (missile variant) or any kind of PPC build for the energy variant.
Fafnir I kinda agree there. Although it's still a decent mech for heavy gauss build.
Vulcan is a very good light mech. Especially the medium pulse build rocks.

SRM Vulcan is not the meta Vulcan...
and Dervish will not be as fast as Bloodlust either... plus 40 tonners and 55 tonners require totally different playstyle.

So many unleveled mechs in my garage and almost no gxp to spend left... and the mc cost for the conversion to level only one mech is really really awful...

Vulcan is interesting. Not many scarecrow like profile around. The hard points have pretty good convergence.

Fafnir and Blood Asp are interesting if you want to try ECM capable dual heavy gauss mechs.

Otherwise all of these chassis are not really fantastic.

The Thanatos is absolutely the worst chassis I've ever played in this game. If you thought the Awesome is a barn door, the Thanatos is an eroded barn door that falls over if someone looks at it the wrong way. Which is why every time you see one on the field, it's someone running stealth armor shenanigans, or hiding in 2 line poptarting

Incubus is fun if you like a close range brawling light, Black lanner and hellfire make for good harassers. Flea has good hitboxes and is tiny and the ecm model is popularly used with stealth armor the same way the pirate's bane locust is. Fafnir, Blood Asp and Thanatos aren't anything special to write home about. The vulcan has already been discussed above.

While the dual heavy gauss Fafnir is certainly the meta, I run a different build that I don't recall ever seeing anyone else run. With the right positioning, I can easily and consistently do 600+ damage QP matches, and I've had several with over 1k damage. Have a look: FNR-5

Okay, you have reached my "snapping limit" in terms of what rude behavior that I can take, particularly since I can see that these are your first posts on this Forum since when you joined it six years ago. I would have thought that someone who's been lurking here near twice as long as myself would have better reading ability and etiquette, would not wrongfully mistarget others, and would even fully understand context before causing an incendiary effect towards their fellow Forum users. While you may have been trying to make a point, you have unfortunately targeted the wrong person (i.e.: 'me', D V Devnull) and made the mistake of putting words that were not said by them in their mouth. I was not being either dramatic or out-to-complain, but instead I was trying to gently outline to another person what their options were at this point, and I was trying to do it without being uncaring towards them. Also, you apparently continue to ignore the fact that it was absolutely NOT me who you needed to point that out to, as I personally mentioned that I had already taken up a recent Mech Bay Sale, and was also therefore not quite in any emergency of needing any myself at this time. So, you have unfortunately pressed some mental buttons that you should never have and earned the exact responses that are due unto you. Heck, you seem to me to be an Alternate Account of someone, and they should have known better than to be a jerk to someone who usually tries to start out on the nice side towards others. thank you so000 much for all the tips , i wish i had realized how awesome the MWO community was back when I first tried this game a few years back, im def excited for mw5, 90% because of the great community support to noobs like me

Every few mech bay sales I will generally have enough mc earned to grab 10 more mech bays at half price if I am down to 5 or less empties. I am at 118 used out of 128 after buying 10 a couple months or so ago on the last sale. but this sale I am a bit short on the c-bills to buy the 2 mechs I thought about this time.

Need about 10.5 Million for the INC-1 and TNS-4S. Only 2 that really fit my personal restrictions I am playing with regarding access to mechs for specific Houses/Clans only for the Invasion/Civil war eras. Have a few other higher priority mechs that aren't on sale atm that I am saving 24 million c-bills for their sales before I buy any others.
