Just a list I'm working on based on the various books that I own. Obviously not a complete list so just add a comment with any you know of (please include the book). Many of these have not been including for obvious reasons as they are too similar to existing battlemechs or others are just more interesting. Only one variant of each type should be included with the exception of clan upgrades of inner sphere mechs.

You left the Raptor off of this list; it should've been at the top.

Many on the list are already in game because you have listed the Inner Sphere designations for clan mechs we already have.

Nabori-Nin is the Huntsman
Koshi is the Mist Lynx
Dragonfly is the Viper
Vixen is the Incubus
Goshawk is the Vapor Eagle

We also have ...

Chargers and the Dervish and Rifleman IIc are out soon and in preorder now.

MWo does not have any current melee mechanics and it is highly unlikely to get one added so...

Hatchetman,Axeman,Nightsky (any mech with a hand held melee weapon) are probably never going to see the light of day.

MWo also has no current quad mech designs or even any in game mechanics so those are probably also on the outs.

Nice list (although not 100% accurate); unfortunately you missed some gems like the Dragon Fire:

The nice thing about the Hoplite is that Alex already has his work cut out for it, given his own drawing pre-PGI employment.

Ah, the Hoplite: a Mech I want to like but can't. Lack of hardpoints, small engine, and a geometry that could be either brilliant or fatal. This Mech's performance would rely on favourable geometry, massive hardpoint inflation, and big quirks.

Well there is a Massive Mech List which has all mechs currently in time period, Bipedal, and no ultra lights. As well as organized by weight class, and base tech.

https://mwomercs.com...__fromsearch__1

Every time there is a mech announcement I cut the mech from the list.

Though I should go through again and finish giving short opinions of each mech.

Am I the only one that wants to see the Starslayer in the game? Though I know the 50 ton IS bracket is already pretty full and it doesn't do anything special. But it was one of my favorites from MechCommander 2.

Strikers.
Just learned about these. Despite their rarity somehow Liao is pumping out a new variant post clan invasion and their existing numbers are in Steiner, Davion and Liao militaries.

Well i would like to see a Mech that was never before driven in a Mechwarrior Game and that would be a decent Mech in MWO because of Hardpoint variation and location.... and of course its completely missing in the list.... shame on you
