FACTION PLAY PUBLIC TEST!

Starts: Monday, April 8th 4:00 PM PDT

Ends: Thursday, April 11th 3:59 PM PDT

REWARDS FOR TESTING:

Yes, that is right! We're giving you rewards for playing on the PTS!

Complete 4 Matches in Faction Play with a Minimum match score of 50

and you will be able to select 1 Reward pack!

Reward Packs include:

1 mech bay, 5 Million C-Bills, and a Faction Warhorn!

(You select the Faction)

Steps to getting your rewards

1: Download MWO PTS Through the Portal

2: Play on MWO PTS (follow the instruction is the post below)

3: Complete the Challenge on the PTS

4: WAIT TILL THE END OF THE EVENT!!!!!!!!

5: Return to https://mwomercs.com/profile/content

6: Select the Faction Reward pack to determine the Warhorn and Claim your Prize

7: Enjoy your Rewards on the Live Production Servers

NOTE:

1: You must complete the challenges

2: Select your reward carefully

3: Customer Support will not be able to change your rewards

Good enough for me to give it a shot. I hope I don't have to suffer through too many Siege missions though.

As of 3:43pm PDT the client does not allow downloading the PTS.

The Q is broken, i';ve been sitting in the 8 second Drop cycle for 10 mins now. It just keeps saying searching for game

I think it is because there are no Steiners in queue, I was getting matches as Marik earlier.
Or maybe everyone is in a group of three, so no possible group combinations.

People that complain about siege in faction play should go back to quick play,and stay there.

I have to agree, I have no idea what we are testing. Its just 4 man scout missions with the enemy team having 4 55ton mechs with 4 SRM 6 launchers. So if you want charge into a PGI made team with 96 SRM missiles. By all means continue to test for them.

Your group will be a Mexican army who won't listen to you when you tell them not to engage at 300 meters.

Faction play is a joke it was dead on arrival. No simple patch is really going to fix it.

I mean I tried about 6 matches and won 2 so its just not their yet.

Not to ***** about rewards but that 5 million cb is kinda what you can earn in 4 FW games on normally...
or you get that mechbay, 5 mills and a warhorn? then it's ok nwm...

I guess you like waiting indefinitely for matches. Siege maps are funnels through choke points, some of them are about the worst level design ive seen of any game.

We were a 4 man of Steiner.

Also not letting people change faction if one side is too stacked needs to be changed.

I think you are in the wrong thread dude. This isn't a "whining about Faction that I don't play" thread. Go whine in the QP threads.
