To anyone else who (like me) never understood when those phases switched:

(upper right corner in faction tab)


I think my eyes lost interest in the faction UI since most of it wasn't playing any important role to myself.

so.. I tried.

thursday, 12-14 CET - 1-2 souls online. no game.
friday, 12-14 CET, 0 zouls, same.
saturday, 12-14 CET, 0 zouls, same.

where we had quite a few games on the last PTS, there's not a single game in 3 days here.
so.. events on the liveservers - working as intended. well done.

good thing is I can finally concentrate on work when in front of my PC

Yeah, the server is crickets this morning. The highest the queue got to was 2/1.
I saw that the PTS was back up last night, but I didn't get a chance to try it out then

I was able to select a career, which faction I was fighting for. Curiously, it put everyone my unit in Marik, even though HHoD is a Davion Loyalist. I chose marik for this conflict and can't deselect it (working as intended, I suppose)

I'm not able to find a way to launch a scout match

Extremely generous all-mode event on live PLUS pretty generous Solaris event on live in parallel to unknown rewards on PTS.

2/1 while writing this. Has increased but still less than half what is needed just for one scouting game.

Fruitless taskbar flashing shall continue until morale improves.

When there's more MC available in a day on live compared with an entire season of Solaris (for me, at least) and we don't even know what we'll get from PTS, the announcement doesn't even link to the thing which needs to be downloaded, and then that thing pulls nearly 3GB when most of it is already on the system and the instructions it gives to use existing file don't actually provide a CTA to make it happen...no wonder PTS is a ghost town. Also there's a half price Mech Bay sale so, erm, a lot of better things for players to do than sit in an irritating queue for hours on end while not getting any actual games.

A lot of problems with the way PTS is being operated recently. It doesn't give much reassurance that the actual game will improve on the stated timeline.

Well, at least it did not throw any errors when the battle circle ended, it nicely ejected me from queue 65s before the end of phase, and nullified my carrier and faction selection once the phase truly ended (from phase 3 to phase 1).

ive tried to get a game everyday so far but its either empty or we have had enough players but no games would launch anyway.

Still no queue size that would be enough to start even scouting, one contributing factor could be that there currently are 6 events on the live servers.

But my main question is: Can you get relevant data from this PTS? If yes, it is (kind of) good that you run it. If not, what could be done to get relevant data?

I tried on a few more occasions but no luck. Also CET as main timezone.

And I really want to play. I made my drop deck and went through the trouble of painting and adding bolt-ons for all my mechs...
