i expect the vapor eagle to get a small agility nerf at most, and maybe an ATM nerf at some point.

Taking bets on how long until it gets nerfed Piranha-style.
It won't unless someone complains about it at MechConn. It's really not that OP since its big arms and tall side torsos make it an easy target. Also and don't tell anyone this - aim left.

If you think ATM 9 is OP, wait until you stick ATM 12 on it. In seriousness, ATMs are rather unpredictable, especially since AMS is rather big right now. IMO there are more consistently good builds available. Even so, a couple of good matches does not OP a 'Mech make, you'll notice that in QP at least, it's not an overwhelmingly popular chassis. I maintain that most c-bill adopters believing the hype will be disappointed with their purchase when the fragility of the 'Mech in close quarters becomes apparent. It's a great 'Mech definitely, but the hitboxes and wonky vertical placement of energy/ballistic hardpoint placement balance it out.

Lock-on weapons are problematic imo. Streaks absolutely wreck light mechs, LRMs are just obnoxious and make for static and stale gameplay and ATMs...poptarting at mid- or even close range...oh well you wreck something easily

There's literally no reason to nerf anything else about the mech, which would make the other variants suffer unnecessarily.

There was no reason to massively nerf hunchIIC's mobility and yet they did it anyway.
Nerfed it into an uplayable state. The hunchi turns about ten times slower than my night gyr. Its uplayable. If they do that to the vapor eagle theyll kill it too. Theres too much firepower out there right now. If youre a light or medium and your not agile then you dead. That said...the vapor eagle is very strong. The punishment it can dish out while being as fast and agile with good hit boxes and good hardpoints.....evil. Just evil.

It's not getting an agility nerf, ever.
That would be like taking away laser heat sinks from the Night Gyr or ballistic hardpoints for the Rifleman.
Ain't happening, it's the chassis defining feature.

I'm actually really excited to see the classic Atlas brawler build on a fast mech.
I am very much looking forward to buying my vape eagle!
