Thank you very much for the good replies gents! (and for not chewing me up and spittin' me out!)
I'll have to give it some thought. I'd hate to pledge my sword (or Med. Laser) and later, due to gameplay style, want to back down.
Out of curiousity, does anyone know (or speculate) that by being a 'Merc Group' we'll be deined particular 'House Unit' abilities? Or is the Merc group more for just organization and community, as addressed above? If it's the latter, I'll probably go and sign up right away. :D

Thank you for being helpful guys!

All we know about the "House Units" is what the devs have reveled thus far. Which is to say, not very much. Basically, as Damon and Watchit have said, we are a merc unit affiliated with the FRR, so as such, if there are any "House unit abilities", we'll likely not have access them, and be treated just like any other merc unit. So yeah, in answer to your question, at the moment, it's more about organization and community, with a accent, for us anyways, on mead, wenches, and camaraderie. :)

Also, if there are "House Unit Abilities", you can probably expect something similar for Merc Corps. Whereas buying that Raven may be more expensive if you're fighting in the FRR House, Merc prices may be universal or perhaps loyal merc units get discounts from the house they work for (all speculation on my part).

As Trev stated, we just don't know. :)

Thank you all for the clarification! It sounds like this Merc Company will be what I'm looking for more. It seems like a more 'active' experience. As long as my Mechs destroying the FRRs enemies, I'll sign up. Time to go apply.
Thank you all again for being so awesome. :D

Tear, just because it smells like toothpaste, doesn't mean you should brush your teeth with it...or eat it.

But... I was told that it makes the oranges in my cockpit taste better, even though they're warm!

Oranges? Man... I hope you have them inside some sort of cooler... as soon as you run your heat curve those things are done for. Unless you like cooked oranges....

Even though they're transformed from big, orangecolored fruity boobs to small yellowish old balls they do taste rather....minty. Even without the added mint.
