Too bad armies cut the hair of new recruits and when the game starts, none will even look upon you.

Another benfit of being a mercenary - we don't have to do things that way.

We are tolerant of long hair, long beards, non-standard kit and even drinking on the job.

Oh yes, more positive neurohelmet contact and all that, but it wasn't a requirement - just something people did. Not everyone shaved their temples/heads.

We still require them to shower at least monthly, if that's what you mean... they aren't allowed to have old chicken wings and **** stuck up in there.

Arguably two of the best pilots the Inner Sphere ever saw, Morgan Hasek and Morgan Kell ( Ironic they're both named Morgan ), had long hair.

We don't have a requirement to cut your hair, but we do have an in-cockpit uniform requirement. Gotta keep cool.
