Back on the whole "join the Skjaldborg" thing... This has been a great bunch of people to hang with! I'm pleasantly surprised by just how active the group is even before beta. If you want to dust off your gunnery/piloting skills you've come to the right place.

So I have been a guest on the forums for about a month. Assuming all my plans work out, I will have a decent enough computer to run this. Which means that I will be playing this game. I have been excited ever since I first saw the atlas dropping in. Anyway, while scoping out the forums I happend upon you guys, who are awesome. I have literally read all 72 current pages of this thread and loled hard several times. My first action on these forums shall be to bump this thread and ask for the join up link again so that I can put in an application. Primary play style is a catapult with some of the lasers ripped out for 2 LRM 20s and a bunch of extra ammo. Just spot for me and I'll kill it.

If the Skjaldborg has room for another heavy driver, I'd like my mech to join the fray. Defending the FRR to the last from the dragon, comstar schemers and the crusaders soon to rear their head in the periphery.

Plus it seems you've procured all the mead in the successor states, not that ample libations have swayed my decision .

So, this may hamper my ability to join the great shieldwall, but I am not a huge fan of mead. The hangover is a killer. I did happen to notice a few bottles of scotch lying around the command center when I dropped off my application. Absolutly not while I was sneaking back in to steal said scotch. If that keeps being resupplied, I am all in.
