And yet you are not tier one yet and can't deal with nascar so you must be just better at the game?

Isn't it possible to not like them cause they look stupid and if in fact it is lore possibly hate them even more?

Despite being at 90% and playing for a long time, saying that bolt-ons "Obscures geometry" is ridiculous, especially when the suggestion is to remove the hitbox altogether for them. So, forgive me if I can't stop laughing at what he said.

Yep, "obscuring geometry"

You may not like or even begin to comprehend the why, and luckily it doesn't matter because it isn't going to change.
BTW the guy who Tk'd you while you failed at nascar in your Urbie on Solaris City a couple nights ago was me. Next time, can you try not to run in circles while cleaning your monitor while a game is going on? Actually never mind eating the ten second penalty was worth it as we probably had a much better chance to win with you out of the way.

You can't stop laughing because you don't understand it from anything other than on a potato level.

Yes, I didn't NASCAR as I ran to the other side to cover your rear. But you're so obscured in your vision that you shot me and lost the match anyway while I had done 450'ish in my unskilled Urbie when we had just gotten underway. Way to give out your potato'ness, wise guy.
I can't stop laughing 'cause a guy who claims to be great at this game on many levels can't distinguish between a bolt-on and the actual mech. Then, on top of that, has to TK to satisfy his frustration. Way to go.
Also, cleaning my monitor? What? What's obscuring your limited logic now? Where did that assumption come from?

Decals and paint jobs also get burned off with the first hit?
yeah but your entire mech doesnt revert to basic green the moment you take a bit of damage. why not have them take damage in a similar way, I.E. get broken down bit by bit as the component they are attached to gets damaged? or even just , i dunno, set on fire or something.

but they wouldnt have to be. just remove any form of contact with them. you cant shoot them at all. any shots just pass through them. there, done, problem solved.

It's no use. I've explained that exact thing multiple times already. It is nigh incomprehensible here.

Do this experiment for me please...
Close your eyes and picture the back of an Atlas. Now do that with wings or a car or anything attached to it. Let's stick with wings for now. Can you still picture the base silhouette? Now imagine trying to shoot at the wings that allow shots to pass through it, attached to the back of the LT. What's going to happen in this scenario? Are you going to derp out and miss the shot entirely or are you going to connect to the wing, have your shot pass right through the wing and hit the spot you're aiming for?
If you're still on about "Obscuring Geometry", then you have problem with trying.

Get better at the game and learn to appreciate what I'm talking about.
You literally don't know what the **** we are talking about.

Given the bolt-ons weigh 0 tons, think of them as balloons shaped into objects and attached to the mechs. What do balloons do when pricked?

LOL...where did I make this claim again? I have tried to explain the why you just are incapable of getting it.
And for your explaination, it's bs you were squirreling around mindlessly in front of your team and ran into fire.

A perfect example of this comes from the Project Phoenix, Invasion, Resistance Mech packs which have some unique geometry on them that doesn't actually change the hitbox.
Elemental Hand Holds on the Timberwolf-Prime(I/G) arms.
Project Phoenix Thunderbolt with Shoulder Pads
