PGI has made me sad with their lack of effort. I mean I get. MW5 is the new cash cow, they hope. But if they're putting MWO into maintenance mode. Then I'm pretty done with the game unless something changes in a good way. Doesn't mean I won't be booting up MW5 the first chance I get. It better be at least stable, free of at least game breaking bugs, and moddable. Combat I would hope they wouldn't screw up somehow.

shh..that's how my fatlases roll. They've been power creeped into that. If i'm going to lrm boat I'll be using my cats since they are skilled and speced for it. Atlas can remain covered in dust and rust in my mech bays.

i've already done about 120 or so games the past week having already claimed the camo and mech bay. i'm so burned out on mwo atm I'm just in mech lab toying with the worst builds I can come up with having no desire to drop into an actual match.

Lrm 5s lct-3x done that. ac 2 ember yep. 4x flammer and mrm 30 atlas done.

Remember, this isn't the first time they siphoned off resources for MWO to support a new product. Remember that horrible space ship game that was a clone of another one? Bad decisions are bad, period, and they've got a proven history of making them.

PGI didn't make me as sad as the players/lamers who marginalized other players who chose a certain weapons system and other players they could shame once stats were published. For all its faults for what was promised and not delivered. And what was improperly implemented due to the anti-lore cry crowd.
It's the players.To hell with them.
To hell with PGI in that respect that they continued to curry the favor of the ESPURTS crowd that will soon desert them AND NEVER CARED ABOUT BattleTech and Lore. GG.

TBQH, published stats just move it beyond the realm of conjecture.

It isn't exactly difficult to tell if someone is probably bad by the language they use; or by spectating them in a game.

Some of them do care about the lore, but when you're playing for money/stats that goes out the window pretty fast, gotta stay competitive with the try-hard master race.

Pandering to the eSpurters is a mistake. There's no way those guys can stay true neutral with money on the line.

Funny... I was just about to post a similar sentiment.

Approaching seven year on this forum, Founding member, veteran of closed beta-2, survivor of the three different clan/group liquidations and countless hours and keystrokes defending PGI and MWO and a long painful journey from white-knight to jilted-knight and we're not going to discuss the dollars invested... I may have finally had enough.

Quite honestly over the past six month the only thing that's kept me here is the love the the IP and the fleeting enjoyment of big stompy robots.

I'm just not having fun any more... And if anyone recalls... That's kind'a my prime directive.

Like you, it looks like waiting patiently for MW5 beta access is my only redemption.
