What do you mean? Their is many took years to get to T1. Thinking just because some can make it to T1 in 5 games really earned it? Along with the achievements. Than those who never sweated it at all. I have read the Tier system is bad, but not that bad until Ash proven it how bad it is.

Trial Mechs are basically all garbage too.

It really does nothing for a new player experience. Trial Mechs should at LEAST be skilled out as well.

I always thought that the Trial Mechs should have consumables equipped. I mean, yeah, it needs to have some skill nodes already unlocked for that but at least have 2 consumables based on the loadout.

He means that - you simply made Tier 1 by playing games.

As in Tier/PSR is simply an experience bar.


PSR and ranking should be based on actual skill, not simply brute force to Tier 1 (massing games).

Coming to the conclusion that now many can make it to T1 in like, 1 day didn't earn it, than those who struggled (years). Really goes to show (proven) that the Tier system is really screwed up. So, the Tier system is not really a ranking system.

We mean with a functioning metric for matchmaker you would never be in the top tier of the game, you're completely misreading why this is broken.

No doubts here -- did it in about 8-10 games with my alt account. The game had a 4xUAC5 King Crab trial 'mech at the time which helped.

It is a 'semi-functional' tiering system.

It will keep those people who are TRULY playing badly (because of potato computer, potato internet, disability, whatever) on a regular basis in the lower tiers.

Those who can play "average" consistently can EVENTUALLY work their way into Tier1.

It absolutely is not a HARD tiering system...
