You know whats insane; is this thread is only about making games longer and not about removing objective play.

Kind of makes you wonder what goes on in a hoders head when they can't ERLL trade in IS mechs and cry "clans OP" the second someone wants to play a 20 minute game in FP instead of a 10 minute game after waiting on the Q.

HHoD is great they take on new players/train etc.

Most important? nah, not the fact that your weapons do more damage at longer range? that's not what's important. nah whats important is nerfing all altwincons.... bs

10% range quirk... yeah that's enough (NOT) we have to devote min 5 tons to a TC to not match clan.

The best long range trade mechs in the game are IS, and they are better than the best clan long range trade mechs by a very small margin.

Honestly if you guys all go to the Clan Side - your WLR won't improve.

Your strats/mechs and builds are the issue for you guys.

I prefer playing IS because it's more fun and much stronger as Clan mechs are paper. Problem is you scare Clanner units off if you beat them 1-2 times so I end up having to switch sides every 2-3 matches.

I mean I do it all live on stream so you cannot say any of it is untrue.

Again tho; I don't give a **** about the techbase I play.

The only thing I avoid is playing with loyalist units that never switch sides; they are among some of the worst players in Faction Play.

Now I'll talk about a specific example here of bad play/tactics causing the loss.

The story in dot point form... It was from yesterday.
  • Boreal Vault - Attack. I am attacking in a PUG Team, I was solo dropping.
  • HHoD 12 man are defending
  • We have -QG-/SGNT/601 - all of these units/players are low skill. Should be easily winnable with 12man/organisation.
  • There is ZERO comms on attackers side entire game.
  • Defenders bring 10 LRM mechs and 2 NARC Ravens
  • I kill the first NARC Raven within the first 3mins because it is standing still - you never stand still in a light
  • Merata and I have ERL - we sit just outside the gate and ~1200-1300m from the enemies. This makes the LRMs a 100% useless weapon as HHoD are hiding on the platform.
  • It was something like 15-2 in our favour in the first 7mins of the game. I had 5 or 6 of those kills from memory.
  • You have people like Novakaine firing LRMs at me from 1300m away, missiles explode in the air before they even reach Merata & I - again, useless weapon/mech/piloting.
  • No player on the defending side is torso twisting. They are all staring into the white abyss waiting for locks and standing still. My kill efficiency is therefore insane because it's less than 180dmg to CT/Kill a mech. Some of the LRMboats are XL, some I only need to put in 120dmg to kill them.
What was the end result of ATTACKING Boreal Vault against a 12man with a bad strat, poor positioning and incorrect loadouts for the map?

The match was not won because Clan is overpowered. Boreal Defense would have to be the easiest map to win on and two players basically wiped out an entire wave on their own.

ok, I think we lied to you long enough. I'll be entirely honest now. You're right, the reason we play clam is because it's ggez mode. My night gyr jumps to 500m and can fire all of it's 6 goose rifles and 8 ppcs at 3000m effectively, AND it can do it without overheating. It also runs 370kph, more than twice as fast as any IS light which allows me to always snipe at IS mechs which are completely outclassed by my ability to erase an entire enemy lance every time I alpha. You should come drop clan and see for yourself. This game is so unfair to IS players, it's even more evident when dropping as clan

You keep claiming you get new players and train them but every time I see your group in FP it's the same players doing the same dumb ****.
So far, the best strat you came up that sometime works against complete pugs is NSR.
What learning curve you're talking about when pretty much everyone on your team landing in FP are playing this game for at least a year?
