Russ said it cost 250k per map.

If you want an e.g., where a developer has a terrible pipeline in creating assets, there it is. 250k!

New mapsss.... let the playerses makesss them... yesssss....

Custom modes and rentable servers is a thing for a higher playerbase.

That said I would like to see a new asymetric mode for FP.. like siege with no cannon, maybe some other objective, maybe just a kind of last stand/skirmish scenario. Heh, if players could design maps... hmm... isn't cryengine a pig to work with or something?

So, ALL they have to do is port the game to UE (so that fans have more chance of successfully building) and release an asset pack for map creation? Add potential maps to the private lobby/testing grounds every month or so (after internal vetting) and let people comment or vote: throw it out, back for redesign or add it in.

I don't see any IS-Omnis or quad on that list...

Well, I'm being modest. No hopes for something big anymore. :(

You forgot Stinger... Posted Image

Stinger would be very easy to mod later, based on the Wasp.

to me the game is in maintenance mode till there is actual development , i have no faith that MWO is even something that they want to continue with at this point , PGI could prove me wrong which is fine but my gut says most likely no further development

Interesting & unfortunate if true .....Tina was posting MW5 updates on Discord for PGI 2 weeks ago, so it would have to be a recent thing

The Community manager.

again. who? Matt was more of a community manager than Tina ever was.
That is from the outside looking in. Events etc, actually engaging with players and answering questions vs not really understanding.

Tina was amazing in all the interactions I had with her over the years. A lot of background stuff, really genuine and did right by many players. I have ultimate respect for her.

Although how much that matters is probably debatable as she is no longer a PGI Employee.

I kind of get that she was involved with some player groups, but never really saw it from a general pop Community Manager standpoint. My more recent impression was that other than the occasional post to the front page, not much.
That is to say, as a primarily solo player I never had any real sense of her engagement with players.

It's sad when people are let go from their jobs when a company does bad business due to the decisions made by the higher-ups. Then again, PGI isn't a public company so....

So you know for sure she's gone? Does MW5 have an equivalent person?

Tina is gone? Mh... kinda feel indifferernt. On the one hand I remember a shy, cute girl that tried to do some Dev Interviews back when MWO just started and from Solaris City commercials. She seamed rather simpatic and nice.

But as a community manager...I have no idea what she did, except for posting news on the frontpage. I hardly ever noticed any interactions with the community here in the forums. Sometimes I saw here telling people the forum rules or closeing a topic but thats about it.

I remember more interaction from Matt or other devs that dropped by and actualy talked, even if it wasn't much at least there was more then one post.

So sorry Tina if its true, allways bad to loose a job but I doubt I will miss you?

You know me by now - I don't make a statement like that unless it's correct/verified.

She is no longer an employee, yes.

Also a number of Community Mods seem to be gone too. I would love to say I'm upset about that - but I'm not. I'm actually ecstatic about it because one in particular had no clue about human interaction and thus no place being in the role. Giving out ridiculous warnings, closing accounts unfairly etc. Good riddance.
