Even if you didn't enjoy the content of his entry into the franchise it has nothing to do with being a furry.

As a furry I find the art shift from what was cartoony-1940s like art into what is now people-in-animal-masks strange. The fursuits are at least colorful and having tried to make one myself expensive.

For twitch it makes sense to do some thing theatrical or change it up to differentiate your stream from other similar streams. A weird hat or back ground works for some people I guess. My name here I did long before the panther mech came into the game and I never was a big bt/bw fan so the mech was new to me.

There's also privacy issues I guess for wearing costumes and masks. Don't want people you know you are x streaming or have something giving away where you are. People on the net do things not always legal.

Other than mech names I don't find furries and mwo have much if anything in common. Bipedal robots not really a furry thing. Never encountered anyone at a furry convention as a battle mech or mecha-godzilla trying to claim that it resonated with them like one might a fur-sona.

I just watched one particularly wreckless wolf-hound-albeit-sans-fur-hat pilot nail one of his team mates in the back because he dashed across his line of fire and got hit. He waited till the other guy wasn't looking too, what a silly thing to do. The lad who we shall name Andy (he looks like an Andy) then proceeded to stand in front of a Fafnir and was removed from play. I think I prefer the antics of the furry players - at least they are polite!

it's a 7 year old game with an huge learning curve that wasn't very well made with a small target audience to begin with
