The Human to game interface is a key part of winning when all other things such as skill/builds are equal
Mouse and key board are just the start.
In my system currently Logitech G903 wireless mouse and cheap Logitech G105 Keyboard
Had two pretty expense, Steel Series Apex M500's which had multiple beer accidents.
They work after a clean but not the same with some shenangans so I use the G105.
Now when I said mouse and key board are just the start, I should mention as Fahad would say that the CPU can completely change the experience from a pile of junk to Star Leagues finest gov.
Speaking of which I have lost two Intel CPU's in the many years I have played this game.
Not sure if due to 4.5Mhz 24hour 7 day Overclock, accident prone M500's or a power surge but yeah lost a 3770K (passed 2015 and a i7-5930K just recently. Even bought a 2nd hand MB for the 5930K but no luck so sad miss you 40 lanes. Both were watercooled but I hear you can get this electron migration or something thingie after a while.
Now I really am running a hunk of junk, its OK doh, an i3-9100F@3.6Ghz
That's how I play in the hardware department.
However hardware is only half the story imo, some times its how you setup the controls and which controls you use that can be make all the difference.
Let you in on a secret that helps me pilot pretty guid, since the game is in maintenance mode and I'm a not very competitive casual player.
I use the Full stop a lot and not just for stopping. I use the Full stop a lot for steering my mech too.
Shh don't tell.
