What everyone preferred pulse laser mechs? IS I still like good old Thunderbolts Grasshoppers Warhammers are also good clan I like my pulse Ebon Jags. Any suggestions on good pulse boats?

I dont use pulse lasers much lately, but I have some nice builds.
BNC-3M(C)
HBR-F(C)
MANUL
I also like EXE-A with 4 hml and 3 lpl and uziel -6p with 6 mpl, but they are not really user friendly (although very powerful in right hands)

Mpl Jester. Yes a tad under gunned, but jj, as, and relatively small profile makes it tough as hell.

Basically anything than can run a good bunch of IS mpl is good.
Being panther, wolfhound,firestarter, urbie, vulcan, phoenix hawk, cicada, crab, dervish, hellspawn, uziel...
Edit : also the commando hero

And thats only for the lights and mediums mechs, some heavies are also decent at boating mpl, still i prefer the agility and speed of the lighter mechs to get in range and dodge returning fire.

For clan mpl ? they are crap. they have been over nerfed. I just dont play them anymore.

But won't MAD-IIC with 9 MPL run very hot?
You'll fire your weapons, and then spend the rest of the time (lots of time) waiting to cool down?

Thunderbolt is certainly top but I prefer my Marauder.

It's tanky enough to charge an assault mech and runs cool enough to not stop firing till he's dead.
As for the tag, two reasons;
1 - Check the arms are clear of the ground
2 - Calling in LRM support to make the enemy cry harder

I love 3xLPLThunderbolt 9SE but I just go with extra er meds for my mid range poke

Everyone here knows my answer. Rifleman IIC with the HSL +2 LPL quirks. Next contender would have to be the MAD-IIC running MPL's.
