Sure, we can just buff the existing mechs, so that there's more value in the mech packs. And in the long run, improve the experience of the game, but can we also have these custom mechs? It's going to be interesting for the vets, and sure to be bought because, they are, although admittedly in bad taste, somewhat pay to win?

Nice work on these, and I don't think any are OP.

i have a hard time calling an xl engine king crab pay to win.

the most p2w mech in my opinion is the ultraviolet. best $25 i spent on this game. top 10 material and still remains un-nerfed.

I'd rather pay for a pay-to-win quirk on my cptl-k2. All ppc heat only 5 heat including lppc, snubs, ppc and heavy ppc. Or maybe armor buff 1000 armor on my IS Jenner's arms while we're at the pay-to-win-game-crap idea stage.

I've already paid for c-bill and xp buffs for the life of mechs aka heroes. Lets make a super buff called the monopoly for $500. You get: 75% c-bill buff,75% xp buff, 75% gxp buff,75% of match score converted into mc and you get fraction buff for one time pick of fraction 75% for all the fp nerds all on one mech of your choice one time only per mwo account.

If I'm going to pay-to-win I'm going all in and buying you fools out of the game.

pay to win is the worst possible thing they could do. its something no FTP game should have.

Yeah bring more p2w elements in, i guess i dont even need to spend time to visit the dead forum of a dead game anymore...free players playing on a new mech that one is not familiar with, plus not 91/91 min-maxed versus the meta try-hards itself is already too much handicap imo, and now you want p2w mechs? Nice, go to play with those try-hards, just leave me alone, thank you.

I wouldn't mind some of the mechs there. But no, to p2w.

Yeah, apparently they aren't pay to win.

My bad, I swear I tried to make them OP, but I guess I lack imagination.

Why money only? And for some reason everything you post here is related to money? Do they pay you to post these or are you just this dense?

That is what PGI is short, Money. That is why they are trying to revive MWO again, because it's their cash cow and they are out of money.

well then they shouldn't have taken that Bribe from Epic. i would have bought MW5 but i wouldn't touch the Epic store with 10 foot pole, they could have gotten much more sales had they gone with multiple online stores.

I can't really say. I mean if it's going to flop anyways like it is right now, the cash infusion makes sense. But since we can't just test it by looking at an alternate universe where MW5 released at Steam on September, I think we can't verify it.

That being said, the real thing that is lost is playerbase trust.

Inaccurate. I suck. I play my best mechs, my meta mechs, with high mounts and either laser vomit or dakka boating, and I win, my PSR goes up, I look like I know what I'm doing. I play my "fun" mechs, my ugly mechs, the mechs I really want to play- I lose, I look like I started playing a month ago, I struggle for kills.

ECM= win. High-mounted UAC-5+10's = win. High mounted laser vomit = win. I can run massively armor quirked IS mechs and torso twist until the cows come home, have a mediocre match- or I can use a BASP and just win with zero effort or skill. Just point at the enemy.

The balance in this game between mechs is atrocious, we already have "pay to win" mechs, it's just that most of them are available for CBills. There's good mechs and bad mechs, and the good ones tend to be good for all the same reasons.

Yeah, but you have better chances in a good build as a bad player, than a bad build as a bad player.

i know a lot of people who decided not to buy MW5 just based n the way the went about going exclusive and the fact they went o Epic in the first place. i'm certain no one would say "i'm not buying it because of the store" if they chose Steam Exclusive.

(tn again i might buy it when it comes out on Steam if i have the cash Vet benefits don't much spending cash)

I think it's a great idea, but it should only be available to the comp players. That way, they can "test" it out in the Soup Queue by harvesting solos. Anything that allows the comp group to harvest solos more efficiently is a great idea.

XL-KCrab is PaytoSomething

quite sure that something is not 'win' though Posted Image

I would pay a few bucks for an ecm-urbie, though.
as long as it looks like that:

Increase MC consumption :
- Introduce back MC-only advanced consumables (as they used to be).
- Introduce a Premium time bonus such as -5% heat generation.
- Give MC mechs more then 91 skill points.
- Maybe add 1MC to the cost of skill nodes.

Popular MMO games are full Pay To Win, some pull it off by not allowing full groups and splitting the P2W players between both teams, so the players aren't equal but the teams are, and the money generated pays for the updates.
