We know how good russ' promises are. Unless some thing goes into the live mwo server and not the test server it's not in mwo. Enjoy mw while its still o.

1. Let's see MWO start this with a gesture like MWO Loyalty Programme Year 7.
Minimal coding involved, and Loyalty mechs already all set up.
The proof is in the pudding.

2. Question (since I'm new around here):
==>What was the MWO Loyalty Programme like the last time the Hero-To-The-Rescue programe came along a few years back?

From the video...

1.) Timeline jump to the Jihad. I'm down for this. I like the WoB and they haven't really been in a MW game since the Mech Assault games. More tech and mechs to play with is a plus for me.

2.)Redone old maps with a nuclear fallout theme (from WoB nukes). I'm down for new renditions of older maps with some changes.

3.)Co-Op PvE content. I'm down for PvE Co-Op. It brings a different dynamic and change up from typical QP matches. Also allows for new players to play vs easier opponents and lets them get comfortable with the game.

4.)Console Support. Naaaaah. It's potentially more money for PGI... but not from me. Also the last game that I played that was PC exclusive that went Console, neutered it's mechanics into the ground and then shut its servers off 6 months after doing so (Marvel Heroes 2016). Also don't want controller players mixing with PC players (I know there's a few out there that play with a controller) with crossplay, that's a new bucket I can't say I would be looking forward to adding to the mix.

The loyalty program was some thing along the lines of pgi's way of thanking you for buying a mech pack within a certain time line they announced. Based on the mech pack or how much $ you spent you'd get a mech or mechs with the c-bill bonus and an (L) denotion in the mech (s) name. It was pretty much a hero mech.

It's been a long time since I spent any money on a mech and mostly just use mc from events. I have almost every mech I want including a large number of hero mechs, Mostly lights and heavies on the is side. I'm to the point where a new mech wouldn't interest me because I have so many able to run different builds there's not really any thing new that a new mech would do other than maybe a paper tiger quirk like ppc heat -50%

I've got daka, laser vomit and lrm builds on 100 mechs for days. I'd go for a big ppc heat quirked mech as that is the main reason I hardly ever use them. I have the panther with the velocity quirk but a less heat quirk would be far better. You can't be a ppc sniper when even with max cooling you only get a few 2x er ppc shots off. 20% velocity be damed give me a 35%-50% heat reduction

I mean, for the console, I have very strong feeling they would done that a long time ago if it was possible.

But it has not been done so I think they do not have any technical expertise left to make a proper console port at this point.

That's what I was afraid of hearing... possible console (read: Xbox) support.

If MS gets into the fray with regards to MWO financing, MS would *require* an X-Box version of MWO.

Our personal advice is: NO !

MWO is considered a thinking man's (or woman's) game.

If or when console (X-Box, etc.) version of MWO comes out, then the entire MWO game would become dumbed down over time to the lowest denominator--to suit console play.

We have seen this personally with other online games (which shall remain nameless here).

A dumbed-down console version of MWO for your desktop computer, anyone?
Not for me.
