Hmm... If anyone has more of something its IS.
I was not talking about what side has more of what, but what actually is used in the game.
The only games when somebody takes the
Awesome are when he uses it as LRM-boat, knowing that the enemy can not target it directly.
These days the 'Mechs such as
Hatamoto-Chi,
Charger,
Zeus or
Victor are pretty rare sight too. Ditto for the
BattleMaster,
Highlander or
Stalker (even though these 'Mechs used to be common).
So even if the Inner Sphere has access to more 'Mechs, you typically do not see them in the field.

IS has 5x100 ton assaults and Clans have been stuck at only 2 for several years. Last 3 100-toners released have all been IS for reasons that defy understanding except sales.
You are technically correct.
The problem is that of those five 'Mechs there are only two that you see in the game in any appreciable numbers:
Fafnir and
Annihilator. I can not remember when was the last time I faced
Atlas or
Marauder II. And
King Crab is a very rare sight as well.
However, almost every game I play these days has
Blood Asp or
Mad Cat Mk. II in it. And if not these two 'Mechs, then
Supernova or
Daishi ("Ultraviolet" Hero 'Mech if somebody spent their cash to buy it).
That's what I was talking about.

Plus IS has the only 90-tonners that can mount 4LB10X effectively.
Okay, so the IS has the
Cyclops.
Kodiak can pack quad LBX-10s too and it can be faster, better armored and with more ammo, depending on how exactly you will fine-tune it.
Do you see more "Sleipnirs" or more
Blood Asps in the game? Because I would say that the number of
Blood Asps is definitely higher.
