Hey! I'll have you know I played a match in that thing last night and our team got crushed, I still managed to rack up 500dmg and 2 kills (1 solo) in that thing!

Worse game last night was actually my fabled UAC-10 Cicada, managed 60 damage. Every. Single. Double-tap. JAMMED!

I was thinking XL for the speed...

Can do XL with DHS instead of the SHS but really it needs more ammo.

IS XL are for lights and a some specific builds other wise not a great idea on most builds

This is a good pilot vs. good mech debate.

A good pilot can do well in a bad mech.
A bad pilot will only do well in good mechs.

Now a good pilot in a good mech, that's something to be feared.

Ah yes, the Orion. A true classic. Look at this ugly and mean looking machine:


I'm dreaming of:
Left arm = Large Pulse Laser
Left torso = LRM15
Right torso (hip mount) = AC5
Right arm = LRM10 or maybe SRM6 + a medium laser?

Unfortunately the Orion got a facelift in MWO and no longer looks as boxy and mean as it should. :-(
Also in MWO you would probably be better of thinking of it as a mini Atlas with SRM's and an AC20. Close range combat.

I like the boxy uglyness makes it look utilitarian
