He's got the head, but the body is definitely an Orion.

The orion was my first mech that I ever bought with Cbills. The VA actually and i could never get the brawl builds to work, but they look interesting on paper. I love these builds.

Orion is a good mech if you play a lot of assault mechs, well close quarter assault mechs like atlas, these two play very similar.

The inner sphere variant I personally play is the hero mech, protector, I run 2xrac2, MRM 10 and 2xML in the arms.

It plays ok, you can corner peak at a good range with the rac2 and push less experienced players back.

The Orion has monster quirks, because it's rubbish. The ballistics are huge and clustered into one torso. The energy hardpoints are low slung, and the 'Mech is gigantic. The best Orion is a Roughneck imo.

Looks like this thread was posted in the wrong section, so I've moved it to Heavy Mech Builds

[Forum_Tangent_Warning]
Warhammer can be treated as a light/fast assault, and it definitely plays in a more situation way than a true assault class mech. Poking around corners with your lasers? It's got the speed.

Just got a Warhammer WHM-6R (2 ballastic + 6 energy), and in its best battle, actually took down a Dire Wolf going toe-to-toe.
Warhammer can get max 2x UAC10 with a few lasers, but you quickly run out of space for anything else.
Few or no heat sinks even when using a Light Engine!!

I wish that Warhammer was 75tons (instead of its official 70tons), specifically for the QoL amenities such as more heat sinks.
Guess this is where the Orion shines--it is 75 tons.

But if you downgrade to 2x UAC5 for Warhammer which is a Heavy, you're fighting with the same equipment as some Medium mechs!

Anyways, in Faction Play (FP), I do see a lot of Warhammer drops, specifically for its 70ton,
apparently a sweet spot for just enough damage per the ton, and saving tonnage for even heavier mechs in your 4-mech drop.

That change amounts to reducing your burst damage potential by 30%, it's not as trivial as it may sound on paper.

If Betty is not constantly bitching "heat critical", your mech is too cold or u shoot not enough.

Yeah, you want to use heat capacity as a resource, not be scared of it like it's a penalty. Usually though you want to cool down enough to fire another devastating alpha.
