Mmh, play one game in december and get free stuff. Very generous indeed ... and will furthermore produce some high(er) numbers of players being listed as active end of year, eh? Smells like some kind of a Win-Win-Bargain here ... at least for PGI and em players that is.

Actually, original basic versions of these Variants already exist without any kind of (C-Bills) and/or XP Boosts attached. And those ones are already purchasable with either (MC) or (C-Bills) only, albeit that one should really use (C-Bills) to purchase the In-Game Store versions that already exist. Just go look in the In-Game Store to find out what the Basic Loadout happens to be, if you're curious. If someone should want to duplicate the "(S)" versions as closely as they can, all they have to do is get their hands on "the original Variant + the Mountain Line Camo + the correct colors" in total, and they'll have the closest thing which they can manage. It still won't have the boost for (C-Bills) earning, however.

But yeah, do consider it possible that people may get access to them with the Annual Loyalty Rewards Program in the future, and don't expect an "(S)" version to be purchasable In-Game later, unless the folks at PGI are about to do something rather strangely interesting. Frankly, if they DID do something interesting in this regard, then I would be totally positive & thankful about it.

Well, the Fireball looks like it has the base PXH-1K loadout, but the Snowball in the picture sure doesn't have an AC/20 and a single small laser like the default UM-R60L.

Actually they could. there is a "buckhorn" that goes on the head. the santa hat has been the one of the most requested bolt ons. and PGI has listened as well as our other requests....

Santa Urbie needs a Santa hat.

I will say at the very least it lasts for 3 days which is unexpected, but still. For most people the 28th will be done and over with by then.

Yes, I rather had a clan mech. That IS commander's voice really sounds like a wussy and I hear it when I pilot an IS mech. That clan officer's voice sounds like a real warrior, A real soldier instead of a freebirth mockery.

Still two free mechs and some other nice stuff. I like it.
