i think solaris would be a million times more fun if you could chat with your adversary. of course it would be abused so much they would have to remove it.

since i usually pilot assaults the most, i usually always nascar because if i dont i become squirrel food in most matches. if team decides not to nascar the odds are the other team will, and im pretty safe on the right side, so i just have to steer left and rejoin team.

unless theirs a better plan
and competent pilots to execute that plan

Otherwise NASCAR is the default plan
Haven't seen many firing lines succeed in merge queue, due to pilots

Its not even just the whining. Whenever two blokes start gossiping about their hemorrhoids or whatever in the in-game voice its incredibly distracting when you'd rather focus on trying to shoot at robots.

Discord, Mumble and TeamSpeak are for your gossip. Try to keep in-game voice relevant to the game.

Are you trying to set people up for failure? Are you new to these forums? "Ranting" here will get you banned so fast, its not even funny. Hell, there are by far more PGI staff here monitoring things than there are in game. You can tell by how they don't even bother to answer all those reports we make.

As for spamming comms....guess what? You can mute the in-game comms. And if communicating is so important to what you call teamwork, there are things like TeamSpeak and Discord out there. All the comp teams use them.

It's not pretty when we are forced to listen to two players arguing over the Team comms;
rather distracting to our stompy robot fun

~Two players arguing who should be the leader (ended having very low opinion of both).
~Two players arguing that LRM is not useful in QP (and then my LRM boat literally put an end to that debate).
~Two players arguing what our Team strategy should be, and how we are not following his orders.
~ad nauseam.

Thankfully this type of arguments does not happen very often!

Just like comms, if you cannot control and stay on topic
Use push to talk but pretend comms is voice activated
then you can say anything and never get banned
or called mean things

Switching off chats helps too
To avoid problems

HE HE HE HE HE HE HE you guys make this TOO easy. I see things most normal people miss because they can't see the bigger picture. My brain is BAD at words but way better at a lot of things your is not as good at
