How to setup full screen UI? UI is forced to Window mode. On my notebook 1366x768 UI is overlaped by TaskBar. Setting game Video Setting to 1366x768 and Fullscreen does not help

Hello everyone long time mechwarrior fan returning after having lost interest following MW 3&4, had a go with the xbox versions borrowing them and a system forever ago but eh. Just rediscovered MWO after hearing rumors about it a year or two ago if I recall and I've missed out on all the beta fun so far but I want to get into it and have some fun with nostalgia.

Not sure how to start about and I don't really want to just try and wing it so any help/TS chats would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Deadpanther, you can join TS anytime you like.
Follow the instructions on the first page.
Because beta has been going on for a long time (a year) this kind of service is not what it should be.
However most people on the TS servers are very helpful.
Don't be afraid to speak up but if the guys say there in a match, just wait till their finished.

Hi all, Just want to say Thank You for making a great community and being patience with new players, as soon as I get my new head set I'll try to join TS, I can always use some help, I'll save my questions to then.

Thanks once again its nice to find a game without moaning vets against newbies!

Just wanted to say I just Brought Sarah's Mech, That gives me all the more hope for the future of the game if the devs are willing to help that way. Thank you Dev Team

Welcome crazy, glad your finding things easy to fit in.
Oh us vets moan, but mainly about balance, structure and how the game effects new pilots.
Sarah's mech is something all should get involved with, 92k was donated last time I checked.

Can I ask one thing I did not find it on the first topic page, what is the IP and PW for new pilots? I might of missed it but if not can it be updated please. Thank you for the welcome and I agree with the Sarahs mech fund, I emailed Tim of Ctrl alt del about the fund-raising, maybe he will put the word out , it never hurts to ask.

Crazy,

Open team-speak, select Connections, Connect from the top menu. Enter na1.mech-connect.net as the server address. Put your full ingame name in Nickname, this makes it easier to add you to group. There is no password required.

sure join on, plenty of people. its a public TS server so you can roughly do as your please.
just remember you do not need to join on corp or anything like that.

Hey everybody, I am a bit frustrated right now. first i used to Play all of the mechwarrior games. was so happy when this one came out. so i am not new to this game, but well, somehow i am though, i guess. for example: I dont know how to Team up with any Body, when ou Launch the game, you just start right away.....no Chance to meet People and form a Group?! no Chance to connect in teamspeak?! i just dont get it.... and the hardet Point...so ashamed to ask it, but well i cant Change controlls....i am playing with a Joystick, as i am used to Play, but i just cant Change the Options to Twist the mechin the z axis and turn in with the x axis.....it drives me nuts...i know where to Change the Options, but the game just wont accept it. ....well, hope you can help me with that...thx. I'm lost on your no chance to connect to TS (teamspeak).
Did you input the info?

You send someone an friend invite then they send you a group invite.
So you have to be on someone friends list in order to join a group.

I cannot stress enough how much of a difference it will make to be able to get on comms with a group of people and work together. It is especially a help for new users because you have an open forum to ask questions and learn about the game [i.e. live tech support community all on comms].

It is a great place, and totally new player friendly opposed to other areas.

Are you guys still doing the training sessions?
Would love too play some rounds with someone cause going into battle solo is getting kinda boring atm.
Im kinda new to the game but i have played enough to atleast survive the first 2 mins of the match ^^

Lorhas its always there for anyone to take advantage of.
Most channels will have people who are willing to help you out.
Some may be recruiters but most just want to share their knowledge.
Also you don't have to join on corp or house, just pop in and say hi.
