Edit: If you look at Cybermech's original post here, you can join up on there.
Check out the different Teamspeak servers available http://mwomercs.com/...e-chat-servers/. The NA Comstar and No Guts No Galaxy are popular servers that lots of people play on.
If you want to join a mercenary unit, a lot of teams are recruiting. You can check their pages out http://mwomercs.com/...corps-outreach/

Wicked, that's the answer I was looking for. Thank you for that.
@Cybermech, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. Thanks. As I understand it, all actual game servers are based in NA anyway, right?

Right now I can not play MWO, because my my Joystick is unsupported, so no matter what I adjust in game it does not help and due to that piloting is very hard... I know it's a bit old, but hoping someone might help me out maybe with a patch so I can play a bit until I can get a new joystick.
My joystick is:Microsoft Force feedback 2...
I am able to get it to work with my Windows 8 and many other games...
but would love any help I can get to get this to work I am a long time Mech Warrior fan!
Any and all help would be great, many thanks!

I wish I could help you, as I have never owned a joystick myself.
I would recommend that you post in the hardware section.
If you notice there is a sticky for joystick users but since you can't get it to work with other games, you may not have much joy with it

hope someone can help ye out

For what it's worth, my understanding is that MWO provides only minimal joystick support, but promises patch upgrades for this sometime in the future. In the meantime, I have heard that some Joysticks work some don't. I have an ancient Logitech 3D pro from my MW4 days. It works great for movement, but it's a nightmare to target with, in MWO. Some joystick users here have suggested a work-around, targeting with a mouse. Unfortunately you need three hands to do this (with mouse, joystick AND keyboard) and still be able to maintain fluid motion at the same time. For now, probably the best thing is to do is practice and become proficient with the mouse/keyboard configuration... ...until the upgraded joystick patch(s) become available, that is. Personally, I prefer using the joystick, which, for MW4, provided a "run-and-gun" capability that you just cannot get with any other controller/pointing device. It is sorely missed here, as mech "run-and-gun" would add a whole new dimension MWO. The joystick patch upgrades cannot come soon enough.

If I may have a moment of you time, as it were, it has come to my belief...well frankly I suck.
Be that as it may, was curious if anyone would mind taking time out of their schedule and would
help me become a better pilot, or at least less of a walking dead RVN.
Unfortunately I should have known better than just to buy one of the first slightly used mech's I came across,
and listened to the sage advice I have come across here on the forums, and now trying to save the hard earned cash
(by hard earned meaning, the equivalant to finding the pennies in the local parking lot) to get something a bit more
how should I say this, more heavily armored machine to hopefully let me stay alive longer than the situation I currently
find myself in.
At the moment I am stationed overseas in Okinawa Japan, so that puts me 13 hours ahead of EST. (7am here is 6pm EST, the day prior)
And I currently work nights, so by the time I get off work most of you would be at work yourself, and or off work and I am passed out in
my bed.
But if any of you feel up for the task it would be greatly appreciated.

Lolz we all start somewhere

Just Log onto TS, the NA server.
Join any channel and just say hi, it is that easy.
Remember you don't have to join any corp/guild to learn how to play.
