I did just that when I woke up extremly early for me, and it seems that most are afk or perhaps my mic just isn't setup correctly.

Anyways, I hope I can get on this weekend, and meet some peoples that would not mind taking me under their wing and let this lil rvn fly. (sorry for the bad pun)

when you log on to TS, the first channel is put everyone who enters into.
has everyone muted in that channel.
Once you move into any channel (except afk) your mic will be unmuted.

if you're completely new to this game, i suggest that you have a sit down with another player via teamspeak or skype about what this game is and how to do well.

New to MWO but i'm an old friend to the entire BattleTech Universe...

I'm looking for a few things...
People to play with
A voicechat server,
And advice or tips on how to play the game and make use of it's intricacies.
..
I like to play the game for fun, i'll throw comical comments around and chat inanely without getting too drawn into the WINNING. though im not saying i dont care, i do pay attention to the score i just want to have fun as well

Anyone who can help me out please respond I've looked at the variety of factions and servers for community chat and there seems to be so much variety and little to tell them apart from an untrained eye...

Howdy all. Like some others I've seen on here, I'm pretty new to MWO but Have played most of the single-player BT games. I'm looking for a few friends to join up with and maybe learn from. I'm pretty good at building mechs. Just could use some help with the tactics part of this game. I have TS and Skype. Hope to run with y'all soon. Running a JM6-A right now btw.

Hello y'all,

Been on MWO for a little while now, been having a blast, ever since I upgraded to vista years ago and Mech Warrior 3 was no long compatable with my PC's, I've been longing for some good mechwarrior brawls, and man did this game deliver! Great community too, I've been lurking for a while but figured it's time to say hi.

I currently only have skype, but would be more than happy to download whatever everyone else uses, if you're looking for someone to team up with I'm the guy, went out and bought me a nice headset just for this game, looking forward to some good, coordinated teamwork! Definitely not opposed to setting life aside and getting together at scheduled times (work being the only exception, but fam can agro all they want, no big).

I am a middle of the road player. Im no expert but I have a fair working knowlege of the game. Lacking team tactics I will admit though when I team with friends we have a vent server and call targets and hold locks when we can. I am equally interested in helping out some new players or join a group that is established.

I am 33, so relatively mature I have vent , raidcall and skype installed, might even have mumble and teamspeak but would have to check not a big deal to install if i dont. I also have a few people I play with occasionally that would likely be interested as well. I also have my own vent though currently only set to 15 people as the need for more has not been there. I have 3 variants of each of the following: Locust, Commando, Spider, Cicada, Shadowhawk, Jagermech, Thunderbolt, Battlemaster, and I have one Atlas. A good mix of ecm scouts brawlers snipers and missle boats. Happy to play whats needed thought I think my strengths lie with the mediums and lights. Have to work on my heavy mech skills.

You can add me in game as Cementi, or look me up on steam also as Cementi.
