It HUGELY important with LRMs you always have to be aware of spacing with them

You didn't answer the question. What part of "Retreat" isn't part of "Backing-Up". And on another note, how the "Retreat" does not demonstrate the awareness of spacing between them?

You keep proving you don't know what you are talking about. And you want to be as close as you can so they can't run to cover

No man, you just have this false sense of superiority, which is just definitely Dunning-Kreugers.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. The ones that will be going to your no-no-zone chances are is well equipped to just fall on basic "back-up shuffle". We've been there all before, it's the leg-chompers, the srm-bombers, the brawlers.

The slow ones like the assaults and heavies that just happen to push through your position, a simple berth would make sense, it's not exactly that "make-lemonade skill" you portray to be.

It makes sense for a protection perspective to try and nullify your LRM advantage. But you don't just charge a lrm-boat when you don't have the mobility and/or firepower to back it up, or the distance to do so, if they have the range and cover they tend to trade instead.

And you also haven't answer how "retreating" does not demonstrate awareness of spacing. I mean, wouldn't it make sense that you are retreating exactly because you know that they are coming?

It's hilarious to see two people who have such consistently bad ideas arguing with each other about who is the worst!

the problem aren't the lurms - but the people insisting on using them in IndirectFireMode.

just nerf that, and the weapon is fine (though it already is). better yet: scratch the IDF COMPLETELY and get rid of the leeches once and for all.

.. and now onto the 'nah you can't do that !!!!111elven' arguments, mostly done by certain people playing a certain way.. Posted Image

Eh well, IDF could have been restricted to NARC-TAG, would make sense really, that the leeches will only leech when it's given permission. You know that it's going to be a lock reliable enough for IDF, because you know someone is actively going out their way to hold locks for you, other than your own.

This will also give more reason for LRMs to be stronger with Direct-Fire -- although they are kind of fine now.
