Timber wolf needs to be balanced against a microcosm
Other wise every one be running them
we all remember the days where we all ran the same thing

Highlanders, victor dragon slayers, timber wolfs, firestarters etc
I like how they balanced it for greater variety

Could use improvement
To make more mechs relevant choices

I haven't seen anyone use that on a Thor. My first impression theorycrafting it in MechDB is that it seems ammo-starved unless you strip a lot of armor (3 tons of ammo is really pushing it).

Dakka Thor

If you strip the head and legs more you can get to 4 and with the ammo nodes on the skill tree its doable. I have seen it before though its not necessarily my cup of tea.

Yeah well, I love my JJ on the Timber. Honestly, Mechs should have a prebuilt jump to scale some form of obstacles.

Just want to say, thanks for all the discussion. Never thought this would blow up, considering this is my FAV mech in battletech, wish it was in a better place!

Just start with an incremental and uniform improvement to agility for 75 ton mechs.
There is absolutely no need to try to establish a new meta.
Consider the results of that specific change without contaminating it with other changes and then, armed with that analysis (and feedback) move forward.
