so what's the problem?

I would gleefully lose every single game from now until the end of time if I got the blessing of the green up arrow

There's 2 problems.

1 - According to a post I saw from Paul, the last PSR change is supposed to be if you are a top player on the losing team, you get the Yellow =.

2 - In the past few weeks I noticed and got screenshots where I got that BUT also got the Red Down and Green Up arrows.

Disturbing thing is I could get similar Kills, Assists and Damage, almost identical match score in different matches but none of that determines which of the 3 symbols I get thus contradicting the information Paul put out.

One of several things convincing me PSR / Tier means nothing and not the only odd thing I saw in screenshots.

PSR / Tier is broke, don't think about it, ignore anyone saying it is fine.

Wrong though. You can actually be on the losing team and get quite a sizeable plus in PSR if you outmatch large parts of your own and the enemy team. Check Brios' excellent video about how the new PSR formula works!

Seen the patches, read the patches, still it is broken.

You can win by objective and have most, even everyone on your team lose PSR for example.

Which is expected behavior given the guidelines outlined in that post.

Winning adds a +5 PSR modifier to all players on the winning team. If their PSR movement from match score was below -5 before that modifier, they'll still lose PSR.

I guess by 'broken' he means unfair if winning legitimately following the rules of the game drops your psr when you had no chance to actually do damage or rack up assists etc due to the game mode.

I mean, is it though? If the enemy team has a higher match score than their team it means combat did happen. Their team just didn't didn't perform as well, even if they ended up pulling out a win.

You get match score for capping and PSR for winning, so it's not like it was a tied game.
