For those that care about such things it seems TheB33F has decided to ~quietly~ return to making videos after three years away.

1. Yet more signs MWO life, with serious MWO players returning!!

Almost always see COR-7A nowadays.
But with TheB33F piloting COR-6R (2x Snub-Nose PPC, 2x LB20-X with only 6 tons of ammo, no AMS),
you've got to be an elite with aiming/shooting in order to make each shot count !
Which he did, with 5 kills in his video!

[Edit]Corrected to 6 tons of ammo, and not "2 tons" which was incorrect.

2. Just a few days ago I personally saw another returning elite player playing by himself, piloting a custom Stormcrow SCR-C with 6x energy hardpoints.
He carried the game with 6 kills and even more assists!
He did over 1,600 damage, and his matchpoint was well over 900 matchpoints !!!
(I happened to be spectating the latter half of his game in the pilot cockpit view mode).

I tried to replicate what he did--suffice it to say that I did not even come close to what he had just achieved

Whoever the new owners are should look into 'helping' the elite players who stream and record vids with some support and launcher links to their channels and streams to increase viewership. The more views the greater the chance the video will break into the general recommendations and more people will see them. The older players complain about lack of new content but thats only because they have already wrung the existing content dry. But for a new or returning player there is years of stuff to do yet so that roadmap bit about improving the new player experience might help with retention.

And that is a hilariously awesome Match that he posted the gameplay from. He was flatly brutalizing opponents with every single shot, and the Urbie just didn't stand a chance! I think I have an idea for a different, cleaner name he could totally enjoy putting on that Alt of his. How does "The Violent Turkey" sound to you, being as this is The_B33F which we're talking about, and that is not his Main Account which he's using? (I would totally suggest "Meat Lord Larry" for his Main Account too, given what I last saw his Main Account handle currently is!)

Uhm... I saw a total of 6 Tons LB 20-X Ammo on that Mech which The_B33F used. Or at least I thought I did? Perhaps you could double-check the video and make sure of who is seeing what?

The COR-6R build came with 6 tons of LB 20-X ammo!

This means that I'll proceed to purchase this Standard Variant and will give it a spin, a la The_B33F style

Larry the Poop Guy is pretty ****** harmless and hilarious though.

Put simply, The_B33F is a rather cool dude. His various Videos are great as well. But nicknames that talk about human waste happen to turn my stomach upside-down and break the CoC in regard to usernames. Heck, even without considering for the CoC here, I think he should stop being so self-demeaning with his own username because we all know he's extremely far better than what he has picked right now. On the other hand, the name I suggest (in my own opinion) presents neither depressing issue, and makes a fun allusion to the fact that he is the one & only The_B33F in existence, plus that he's loaded full of meaty awesomeness. This guy should never be at a lack of cheerful happy, and I'm admittedly bent on helping The_B33F be so cheerful that even his usernames won't look ugly.


Just to put a real bullet-point on it (pun intended)... After seeing his video, I am now considering building another Corsair when a Sale arrives on them. Somebody who was really trying to be (or is naturally) that depressive would not result in having that effect on me.

i try to stay under 100 proof in my old age.

like southern (dis)comfort. the bottle says 100 proof, but its got a flavor that really hides the potency. it also gives you one hell of a mean hangover. perfect to serve to college students who don't know how to handle their liquor yet. think of it as a lesson in discipline. i used to get a bottle of that stuff. one day i woke up at a glacier. idk what i did that night or how i got there. especially since it was like 10 miles from where i lived at the time. i still had some change from the purchase so i managed to catch the bus back home. to this day i dont know what happened that night.
