I have read the suggested changes.
In general, the impressions are rather positive than negative.
There are some points that I cannot fully agree with, but i need to see how all this will work on the battlefield.
I am delighted to you have improved the characteristics of many weapons For this, I really feel grateful to the people involved in this case. But I continue to be confident that this patch should go along with the revision (reduction) of the size of the mechs, as well as improving the mobility and survivability of a large number of mechs.
There are also things that still cause irritation.
For example, the absolutely absurd mechanics of the explosion of the GR. What's the use of having 10 health points for GR? The GR will explode anyway. And I will once again notice that it will explode for no reason. The very logic of this explosion is flawed. And I again urge the PGI to treat the GR with common sense: either you leave the GR explosion, but at the same time remove the GR charging mechanism (rubber band), or you leave the GR charging mechanism (rubber band), but refuse the GR explosion. And you must remove this mocking advice on the loading screen: "Do you not like a weapon whose ammo explodes? The GR ammo does not explode." Your GR is more likely to explode than the ammunition load of any other weapon (while the ammunition load, as a rule, always takes up a lot more critical slots in the mech)!

By spawning points.
How many original maps are currently available in quick play? 19? Are you going to manually correct spawning points on all 19 maps? How long do you suppose it should take to fix the spawning points on all maps if you still have not been able to reach the rate of fixing at least one map per month?
Okay, let's say for a moment that you were able to fix spawning points on all maps, for example, in nine months. And, say, ten months later, the number of players has grown enough to separate the solo and group queues. What will happen then? Then the balance of spawning points will be broken again, as it was a year ago? And what will you do then? Manually fix points on each map again?
In general, I want to remind you that you were able to organize problems with spawning points on all maps in one day, combining solo and group queues in a quick game. Think of this as a hint of radical and rapid change that requires minimal effort.

It's been almost four months in 2021. Almost 25% of the new year. During this time, we saw only developer videoconferences (this is certainly very good), two very strange hunts for devs (almost without devs participation) and just a terrible, terrible March patch.
When can we see the separation of single and group queues? When will a real matchmaker appear in the game?

Yes, I understand that there is little positive in my message. I really wanted to leave only positive messages on this forum. Therefore, I will try to end this post on a positive note. Thanks for this patch. This is a lot of work that gives me hope for a better future for this game. Good luck and fastest success in improving this game.

Expand your chests, raise your heads and rejoice! For this april's patch is a huge step - although only the first on a longer journey - into the right direction! We won't see where it gets us, 'til we start walking ... but it can't be worse than the hole we been sittin' in over the last couple of years!

more viable Weapons means more viable Mechs on the Battlefield.

It will be fun to test and tweak your Mechs.

All The options.

no more, you have to take this exact setup to be of Value for the Team.

So my question is, what is the probability of a hotfix patch release within the next week? I give it 95%.

I'd guess close to 0%. Even if PGI drops the ball hard and he-who-shall-not-be-named messes with the Cauldron's values, I don't see them having the resources for a hotfix patch.

I'm quite excited for the changes coming with this patch. And with all the xml changes coming from an outside source, I doubt there will be any math errors this time.

I hope he-who-shall-not-be-named has been contained for this patch and at least the near future ones.
Otherwise I simply cannot imagine that Cauldron guys will take kindly of seeing their hard work being messed up again like in the March patch.

I'd say 0%, they didn't revert the former one (ctrl+z).

What's with https://status.mwomercs.com/ ? No Patch announcement, still showing "all system nominal" during the whole patch. Might as well shut this site down if you are not updating it.

They should have a slight advantage over Clan gauss, that's the entire point.

First game in my mad-3r I mentioned in the last update that 2snppc, 2ml, and a lb10 just had a 4 kill, 10 components destroyed game brawling is fun with it again!

Played I six matches, two with 6xMPL 6xMicro Pulse Stormcrow and four matches with 4xLPL Nova Cat. The feeling with these few matches is that more players are going for brawling and close range fights if the map allows it. Of course everyone and their mother is testing new stuff, but the general feeling was good.

At least it wasn't cERPPC spam as it was before the patch.

The masc revert is all I really care about and to run my flea with agility boost brings a tear to my eye... thank yu for making him as agile as a flea again.
