Also ensure no sound packs & mods. They are known to cause all manner of strange issues.

I think a big thing is that the weapons are not only balanced around each other but around their role. an ac20 slug that moves faster feels better in a fast brawl.

"Great" patch - after it game refuse to start launcher, and says "servers undergoing maintance…" error when started with direct link.. Repair tool didn't launch too, so single way to repair it - delete and install again!!! WELL DONE!

If you have a look at the progression of the gun size there are a few oddities that stand out:
- Why has the IS LBX20 a higher projectile speed than IS LBX10? Comparing it to the other types in general it should be lower.
- Same thing for the Clan LBX20. You might cover that one with balancing reasons, but it still is odd to have the same speed like the Clan LBX10.

I haven't paid much attention to things like that in a while but are those IS LBX ranges intended? Compared to the Clan variants they are quite high when considering that all other IS variants have shorter ranges.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree its a little odd that the 20 has a higher speed than the 10. However we didn't change the velocity on those weapons because we felt that the 10 was already strong and the 20 needed buffed. We could have made it lower velocity and buffed it more in other ways but decided on just buffing instead of both a nerf and buff.

My assumption would be that light mechs would be relatively untouched (since they are pretty agile) leading to a reduction in light survival. With lights being the least played weight class, do you really want to nerf them?? Or is there a plan to accommodate for this?

Liking the changes! It feels nice to be able to tinker around in the mechlab to come up with some new unheard of abominations. All the weapons feel usable now. Its crazy.

However, Tourmaline spawn points... were they changed? I've had to cross no-mans land twice in an assault now on Domination. Is that intended?

I only played the map ones since the patch, but it was the same for me

Most mechs across the board are getting buffs.

Lights included. In fact it'll benefit many lights the most which is great for that weight class.
There will also be quirks looked at in June as needed.

The problem with entering the game on Monday and Tuesday, which I mentioned, was repeated for the same people yesterday.
Comrade Pz_DC reports the same problem.
One of my comrades who ran into this problem made an official support request. In response, he received a standard message that his appeal was registered. He did not receive any more messages, the problem with entering the game has not yet been resolved.

P.S. As far as I understand, this problem only affected people from Russia Posted Image

Only select Russians it would seem.

I've seen a number of Russian friends playing and some even streaming. That sounds like a more localised / ISP routing issue at a high level.

Perhaps this is true. I am also from Russia and I do not experience such problems at the moment.
With the clause about Russia, I just wanted to clarify that, apparently, this problem only affected the players (some) from Russia, because I do not see any messages about the same problem from players from other countries.

I played on laser boats yesterday evening. I liked the new characteristics of the weapon (LPL + ERML Clan and IS).
Corrections of the spawning points on Tourmaline, apparently, were made so carefully that I personally did not see any changes.

P.S. The fourth month of 2021 ends. The problem of spawning points on one (!) map has not yet been resolved. How long will it take to fix spawning points on all maps?
Can a matchmaker (at least somewhat adequate) appear in this game? And in what time frame?

PGI gave the IS LB-X a max range that is 3x optimal instead of the usual 2x as a consolation prize for the massive increases in slot count that renders them very difficult to fit in an effective build. It's not much, but it's a thing. Cauldron did not update LB-X range.

The side torso is what is large on the TDR. The CT is not and combined with the very nice mobility the TDR has it is really easy to spread damage on it as well. It does not get cored easily at all.

I like this patch. Build variety is back up and lasers are finally back up to be called weapons. If we could get rid of this utterly ******** heatspike when loosing a sidetorso, we would mostly be back to "fun to play" or even a "good game".

There is one interesting thing about this game. It is called "torso twist". Rumor has it that this thing helps a lot to survive.
And also i hear that if you less show the enemy's back, this also leads to an increase in survival.
