Grinding for imaginary points to unlock digital swag is pointless if you aren't actually having fun with the core loop because it is unbalanced.

Solid changes all around.
Tuesday is going to be wild with so many new theoretically viable builds to test.

As stated before, you can never make everyone happy.
But how long are we going to have to wait for the second set of proposed changes(scale and mobility)?
If everything goes to plan May will be mobility (with the necessary changes to weapons we identify throughout the month). Juns is quirks with some mobility revisions as necessary. PGI need to do rescale so that aspect is on them to deliver.

or shall I say, well played Commode.
So, PPC get buffed.. and Clan ER PPC are currently over powered. A fix was promised, but promises are only good if kept.
Airstrikes and Artillery Strikes to push snipers off of their positions are getting nerfed.
PPC are losing some min ranges and increasing velocity .. making it easier to kill lights and other anti sniper configurations.
Backup weapons are getting buffed to make anti sniper, anti missile mechs move vulnerable
Streaks getting either longer cooldown or damage decreases, used by some specialty anti sniper groups.
ATM short range damage decreased, also used by some anti sniper groups.
I am reading a real boon for the PPC/gauss Snipers and a few bones thrown in as distractions
Prove me wrong

Basically this means cERPPC is being reverted to its state before the March patch. All old stats listed in the patch notes are also based upon stats before the March patch.

I recall you confidently mentioning this same thing in a match last night but as others have pointed out, you're not correct.

Is there somewhere we can look to see what the Cauldron is currently planning for the mobility and quirk changes?

Yes you did. Either intentional (as an opening argument for the rest of your post), or unintentional.

- Air strikes and artillery are now less lethal to mobile mechs. You are less likely to get one-shot in a light or medium mech due to an unlucky shell landing behind you. Strikes build up damage pretty fast on a sniper mech that's not willing to move. The longer duration of the strike also disturbs the sniping position twice as long in terms of cockpit shake as well as damage build up. Overall this is a significant boost to light and medium mechs. Strikes dropped in a brawl (which can also be against a sniper) will now lead to less random one-shot kills on brawlers allowing them to fight it out longer
- PPCs are all being reverted back to their pre-march damage outputs. Also, only the LPPC is losing its min range. Moreover, PPCs were never a sniper weapon and never will be. PPC and HPPC are still at a significant disadvantage against brawling mechs due to min range
- The boosted backup weapons are the ones mainly used by brawlers. See reduced spread on SRMs, high density MRM volleys more damage for small/micro lasers of different types. In fact after the patch some brawling mechs would get into the top of the food chain due to boosts to short range weapons.
- Streaks getting toned down is a direct boost to light and medium mechs which include most of the anti-sniper chassis and variants. This is in direct contradiction with your second point stating that Lights are now easier to kill. Streaks are never used against sniper units. In fact some sniper units use streaks as back-up weapons to hard-counter anything that tries to dislodge them.
- ATMs now have more missile health allowing them to cut through AMS a lot better. This has been fully analyzed and clarified in an example here. Most sniper mechs carry AMS as a protection against LRMs mainly... changes to ATMs directly benefits anti-sniper mechs that close the distance to benefit from higher damage range bracket.
- C-ERPPC as one of the strongest long range sniper weapons (pre-March patch stats) is not touched. changes in this patch provides multiple options to counter and match C-ERPPCs in the sniper category. Mainly, the extremely heavy and explosive Light and Standard Gauss rifles which has been pushed to the side due to high tonnage cost and low performance.
As mentioned earlier, short range weapons have received the bulk of the boosts in the patch.

We are still working on it. We have draft documents and a few different proposals at this stage. We first need to see and evaluate this weapon pass before we can finalise mobility for the May patch.
Once we have a solid presentable proposal we will release it in advance as we did with the weapons for people to critique.

Sorry but that just another of your statements that simply isn't true.
The side torso is what is large on the TDR. The CT is not and combined with the very nice mobility the TDR has it is really easy to spread damage on it as well. It does not get cored easily at all.
