Thanks for the generous contest. Here's a build I came up with to put on the second MCII-B that I got. Due to AC5s going down to a single shell, it does 40 pinpoint damage at 720 meters with an addition 10 in splash. It is also heat neutral when firing just its AC5s. The AC5 and ERPPC also have the exact same projectile velocity now (1500m/s), so it really will still be pinpoint at their optimal range.

I have a Cyclops 11-P that I haven't build yet, so I thought could this build work. 4x Light PPCs and 2x Light Gauss gives a nice round 40 damage every 3,5 seconds with a quite nice long range. Even with the ghost heat of 4x Light PPCs this is relatively cold thanks to Light Gauss getting its heat penalty removed.

Not sure how practical this is but RAC/5s are getting a pretty hefty buff so I thought to hell with it, lets roll with four of them. Primary pair should be your arm mounts for the higher accuracy and tracking, saving the torso mounts for when the arm mounts are cooling down. I experimented with a triple RAC/5 FNR-5 build that should actually be 'meta' viable (ECM, skills + patch should make firing 3 more sustainable) but quads seemed more fun for a contest.

The PPC quirks are nice.

Great range, no heat issues, very pinpoint damage, solid dps, and acceptable alpha.

It's a bit risky with the XL engine but I think in QP that's less of an issue. Should have the speed to keep distance, just wish it had jump jets.

I have played 45T mechs with HPPC, with the previous patch VND-1AA was best due to better quirks (Heat and armor) but with heat reduction to HPPCs I think BJ-3 is back in the dancing room, the better hard point location will help it pop tart a lot better than good'ol vindi.
