GXP is nice, and useful for newcomers (or returning players like me) who have just started populating their Skill Tree in various mechs!

That said, me thinks the major point of your screenshot is that you have 15,478 GSP, so you can instantly and completely populate Skill Tree in 170 mechs! (Many players don't even have 170 mechs).

GXP like other XP, helps to skip the grind.

I find it's most useful with a new mech. Drop 30-40pts into it straight up from GSP/GXP bank and then levelling it doesn't feel anywhere near as painful with some firepower or cooling etc.

For people who do not have it unlike you, me and others.

Don't want free GSP / GXP, skip the event, I did. I even forgot I had GSP until this event showed.

GSP/GXP are just behind mechbays in terms of how valuable they are to players regardless of skill level or time spent playing. Getting them for free is great.

i got that huge ammount of GSP because of the huge skill tree refund 3 years ago.basically woud have took away every incentive to play this game, if i didnt igonred them like i do until now.they just stacking up a bit more from time to time or like the other guy said, i use them now and then to skill up a new mech to 30 skill points and get the basics like consumable nodes and a few weapon nodes.
