MWO already is/will knock itself out cranking out this ~70day leadtime Hunter Booster Pack delivery leadtime.
Which is a short time from implementation to testing to rolling out.

Previously it's 90-100day leadtime for both Stryker & Warden Booster Packs!

Ya, so that was a joke mostly. I am a very patient person when it comes to MWO and Battletech in-general (Wave 2 Kickstarter?). Because games.

Ok, those hard points are very good. Trench warfare is going to be interesting.

Yes. MASC, JJ, and 7E two of which are shoulder mounts.

Plus, you know. It's a Phoenix Hawk. (some of us love the design even if the mech itself is bad)

The PHX is legit good! The -2 is a great QP machine, the -1K has seen play in comp, the -3S ... can go 170 KPH with MASC lol

Just saying.
At one point the reaction I got to dropping in a the (S) PXH was "Collector PXH? Condolences."

Sure. I've loved it since it dropped. Hit leaderboards on a few variants and have always found it very fun to drive. This pack was a way easier buy than the Stryker for me.

I suggest you guys recommend me some builds then because I am really having issues loving the mech other than for it's looks : Pistol PEW PEW Posted Image

My problem with the mech is it's size : Too large for a Medium Mech but too weak to be used as a Heavy Mech...

Some other Medium Mech models have the same issue too!

It's going to remain consistent with existing weapon hardpoint behavior, as seen in the default loadout, and prioritize EH1 over EH2.

Isn't it about time to have some kind of option to decide where a weapon is located exactly ?!

It's something that really bothered me when I started playing MWO and I am sure that a lot of new players also have the same issue on top of the steep learning curve that MWO has already... Posted Image

Some options :
- Dedicated numbered Slots for Weapons marked with the Color of that type of weapon : Yellow/Blue/Brown/and so on.
- When you place a weapon it lights up on your mech in the background or in my case on my center monitor Posted Image

this one is a personal favorite:

You can also do MLs or SPLs with the -1K

At this point, that would mean making sure there's art for a LOT of new possibilities, across over 100 chassis. Any weapon you can't fit 2 of, we never made 2 of (there's no AC10 model for the second ballistic slot anywhere). Several months of work at least. As well, a system for choosing which hardpoint you want to use first would be needed.

I think people wanted to know if you can bump a HPPC to the high location with say a small laser, and the answer should be yes. The only mech that violates this rule is the Banshee.

As nice as choosing weapon slots would be, at this point I consider it part of the flavor of the mech. Often times the first hardpoint is typically in a location dictated by the original art of the design, so breaking it would be.... weird. Normally not a "lean on lore" guy, but I personally would rather see resources spent towards new variants, and new chassis.

Really? I thought they changed that? The first two Banshee slots are low, but the 3rd, 4th, and 5th are high, so two small lasers should put a PPC up top no? I haven't checked, but technically you can put 4 PPCs in one side on the banshee, so that means you should be able to get two high ones. HPPCs maybe only 1.

For anyone unaware, this is more or less a unanimous driving factor for the ability to prop up hardpoints. If you can't fit two of a weapon in a component, it likely only got modeled in the first slot.

I've worked out builds that I like with both mechs. If any PPC quirks the stalker gets is of the generic variety and not limited to ERPPCs, I will get the pack! GJ

Please Sir, I'm a bit slow. Will we be able to move the PPCs to the high hard point? I think this would be a big plus and maybe help with convergence. Maybe, make this mech more desirable. Yes? No? Respectfully asking.

I don't see how that is supposed to improve convergence, though. Both, the lower and the higher hardpoints are equally apart.
