well I am glad someone was wrong about the free Mech

I was getting pretty angry and salty
trying to join comp

the 6R is the best WHM in my opinion (I already have 2)
but I dont mind grinding for another one

Warhammer is a awesome IS heavy mech and getting a second one is never bad but I would have loved to see a Clan mech tbh.

Okay... I've heard of a "WarHammer" Mech... But what is a "Wh@#$hammer"??? What does the "Wh@#$" stand for?

Alternatively, what's the only profession in the cosmos older than soldier/mercenary?

I have multiple WHM-BW Hero mech (from...cough...IS New Player Packs...), and I have WHM-6R, all of which are fully skilled up.

I like the WHM-6R much much better, to the point that I'm thinking of getting the WHM-6R(S) Special Mech as well!

Honestly, the WHM-6R is a much more versatile mech, with its 6x energy hardpoints, albeit with only total 2x ballistic LT/RT hardpoints. Superior to the WHM-BW, IMHO!

I have no idea why. Truly, I do not know. But when I see a Wh@#$hammer, I wantz it ded. If I have multiple equally valid target presentations and one of them's a Wh@#$hammer, I'll shoot the Wh@#$hammer just about every time. If I see an injured Wh@#$hammer trying to get away, I'll expose harder for longer to finish it off than I'll risk for most anything else. If I know there's an enemy Wh@#$hammer on the field, I'll be actively keeping an eye out for it and looking for chances to do it mischief. When I manage to drop a Wh@#$hammer, it's a bigger dopamine hit than dropping almost anything else. Sphere, IIC, doesn't matter - there's a short-circuit in my brain somewhere that will not permit Wh@#$hammers to live.

on second thought i think im going to wait till after patch day to do the event. especially with them ready to break mw5 mods again, im going to need something i do while the vr mod gets a compatibility patch. good thing we have all these new toys to play with.

lots of options with the 6R, i like that. i might look at the Quirks and see what i can do with her. (i like the idea of 2 RAC/5, or perhaps 2 AC/10 with some laser sprinkled in. only problem with the Warhammed is that Missile box makes one hell of a target if you put a large launcher in it.)

I do not think it would work.

In the best case the players would go to FP, play just the minimum amount of games needed and then they would leave. You know, just like they did in Solaris 7 game mode for its rewards.

In the worst case they would ignore the event outright.
