Are there offers? Sales? In Warframe people are discouraged by casually buying currency because sometimes the daily lottery gives 75% discounts: will I ever get anything like this from a supply cache?

There are sometimes sales where mc are in boundle with free x (mechbay, mech, etc.) Or more sometimes 30-50 % discount. Not in any daily form but more like 2or 3 times a year. Combined with mechbaysale or heromech sale u can get quite a good value. Normally end of year direction Christmas etc is a 50 % sale.

The current tournament supporter pack is nice 2

It seems so, but I'm not interested in time-limited boni. All I wanted was some specific mech, and some +30% to bills wouldn't had hurt.
So all I have to do is wait 3 more months holding onto hope. Who wouldn't want to?

there are plenty of events that give out free MC. sometimes during normal events and whenever there is a Loot Bag event they give out free MC.

(honestly i think they should give new players more free mech bays after (or during i can't remember its been 4 years since i was a new player) the tutorial than they do)

If you do research on past premium mech package sale history, you would likely conclude that usually and on average there may be two more premium mech package sale between now and Christmas.

Of course, past performance does not guarantee future trend, but me thinks it's a relatively reliable indicator

(I too am eagerly awaiting for that next premium mech package sale; already have a shopping list ready!)

If memory serves, PGI traditionally runs MC at 50% off, on the last day of each year.

At least they did when I last played this game regularly, 3 years ago. I am hopeful they will run that sale again this year.

MC sales come around multi times a year, just hard to say when as other sales also come along

Buy the MC on sale.
Then buy the hero on sale and potentially, get two for your money.

Plus events do generally give out a generous amount of MC as others have noted. Generally does not take too long to rack up some, especially during lootbag events.

Witness that MWO threw in MC + GSP Sale in August 2021.
(But no bonus MC).

So MC sale with bonus MC thrown in has become relatively more rare in recent months.

With GSP thrown into the mix with MC sales, it's not a given that they'll offer a 50% Off MC (aka Buy-1-get-1-free) at the end of this year. Anyways, it's October, so end-Dec is not that far off.

Personally I would just spring for 30% Off MC when they come.
After that, buy Hero mechs at 50% Off when they come!
But that's just me.
