Played MW5 so much, you forgot the buildings in MWO were indestructible? Asking for a friend.

That is entirely because of the difference in Game Engine which is being used. The most recent of PGI's offerings, "MechWarrior 5", happens to be running on "Unreal Engine 4"s core. On the other hand, "MechWarrior Online" is running on a more ancient "CryEngine 3" core. So, each game has its' own unique features, including the difference between whether an impedance in your path is temporary or not. And there are some in "MechWarrior 5" that also will not bow to your Mech's mighty weaponry, possibly of which your friend has not found yet.

Have you ever wanted to buy Mechwarrior 5, but remembered there's no pvp in it and decided not to?

Actually I prefer PvE... and MWO is about the only game that I play PvP... just saying

That would require me to reinstall MWO. So, nope. Don’t even have the new DLC yet. Enjoying MW5 with all the great work done by mod makers.

heh, heh yeah I hear you. I stopped playing MWO about 3 years ago. No single reason other than I just couldn't stand to play it. It just wasn't fun anymore.
Been playing Battletech and MW5. After a total machine upgrade, MWO never got reinstalled.
Just last week I got the MWO itch again and reinstalled the game.
Here's another MWO "feature" I forgot about.... small objects, about ankle high, that prevent your mech from moving after a full stop. No doubt because they are indestructible. Not complaining. I'm just relearning the little quirks that are not in MW5.

Those are the really annoying ones. Particularly when they stop your Annihilator Mech from moving in reverse in a spot where it should be able to.

Not yet but I am enjoying figuring out cheese builds in MW5 for each mission set. Love me a splat boat for assassination missions, while a light lance for raids and beachheads is like a hot knife through butter.
