when the typical cheater turns out to be an inept player, the cheats become a crutch and dont really help the player win and it prevents them from learning skills that can actually make them a better player. this is the kind of cheater most players will encounter. when you see a player that hits like a pro but moves like a potato its often easier just to take them out of the match than to make a fuss out of it.

but when it infects high level play it can undermine the entire esport. nobody wants to watch a rigged fight. and nobody wants to see a team work their way up the the wc just to go splat when they encounter an actual pro team who got there without using cheats (when you get to the point where you are running on pgi's computers). im not saying this is a thing that happens, just something where if it did happen could have an impact on the bottom line.

This declaration from my unit will be referred to for future accusers. I also put in an encouragement for other units to participate at the end of the OP. If every decent unit does it, cheats will have no place to hide and will forced to solo play and eventually quit.

Except being asked to stream from time to time and making a public good guy statement about not cheating doesn't make it harder to hide, if anything it would make it a bit easier.

I'm not disputing your intentions, just your predicted effects.

as much as i want to say this is a stereotype, i have had russian friends and every one of them knew some hacking. and i mean real hacking not script kiddie stuff.

If you want to discuss the matter, there's a thread about it on Reddit - but PGI does not want any discussion of the subject on this forum.
From a certain perspective, they are not wrong about it - in the long term, allowing it would lead to an insane level of toxicity on the forums.

The accusation in question is very different - the only proof you had for the alleged 6 ERPPC Raven is your own word of mouth (and at the time, your credibility, or at least the credibility of how you remembered it, was fairly low - given that you repeatedly claimed to pilot a King Crab build that the game doesn't actually permit to exist), whereas the other one had its' allegations thoroughly documented and the alleged cheats used are also more plausible on a technical level.

I know English is not your first language, so maybe some of this is just a problem with language barriers.
The cheats alleged in this scenario are plausible on the client alone. To do some of the things you claimed, the supposed cheater would have to have control over the game server itself. That's like the difference between saying "I saw a plane" (and having a photograph that certainly looks like one) and saying "I saw an alien spaceship".
